I also have this set, in a smaller size, and I am always surprised by how effective Holbein gouaches are. You only need a small amount. I really like the way you made the roof, the bricks, the pink of the lawn. I enjoy following your videos. Thank you for posting them.

Recently my bestest friend of 10 years introduced me to your UA-cam channel by saying she gets lost in the world of your channel. I started watching your videos because I am obsessed with studio ghibli art and your channel is perfect.
I watch your videos to sleep almost every night when I can't sleep because it's so comforting and mesmerising.
The other night I was watching your video of your first time unboxing the Himi gouache paint set and the Sakura art book, and i was dreaming about how maybe one day I could save up for those 2, as I always use acrylics and non art paper books.
Just yesterday I met her after a longgg time and she travelled 2hrs to get to me, and my birthday is in a few days and she bought be the very same Himi gouache set and the exact same Sakura book that you paint in and I cried when she went because i thought it would be a long time away till I could get my hands on such quality material 😭❤️ I love your art so much and I aspire to paint just like you with these tools ❤️❤️❤️ please never stop uploading or at least never delete your channel, i want to always come back here for inspiration and comfort ❤️

How should I mix color for the reflection in the water ? Should I start with blue-green to paint water first for base then add a bit of other color for other obsjects?

yes unlike the Himi/Miya...Holbein is expensive but recently i treated myself to the '5ml primary set' that they offer on amazon and its beautiful to work with ....so much easier than the himi/miya i have been using. Made so many different colours too as i swap between landscapes and flowers. Love Alli XXX
