Utah women tried to report their sexual assaults to police but faced delays and language barriers

- Forty-nine women have gone to Provo, Utah, police to report OB-GYN David Broadbent for sexual abuse. We spoke to 14 of those women, all native Spanish speakers. Many say their reports were stymied because no one at the department could speak Spanish.

As many Mexican families are that have moved to Utah, you would think each city would have a Spanish speaking employee especially at the police department in every city.
In the age of technology
Growing up in multicultural areas, understanding other peoples languages was something that easily was able to interpret. After having a stroke, that’s no longer something I can do so now I rely on an app that translates for me.
Why isn’t there a way that they could do something like that?

Is that ObGyn a devout Mormon? I just wonder if that's why they're letting him get away with it or if its just old-fashioned, class snobbery. Look at how long Jodi Hildebrand was allowed to torture & abuse because of Mormon church protection.
