I literally gasped when I saw Mr. McFeely. Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was a wonderful show. I watched it all through my childhood.
I was born and raised In Pittsburgh. Lived there for 56 of my 61 years. Mr. Rogers took everything in life and made it a positive experience - much loved & adored here.
I grew up in Pittsburgh in the late 70s and early 80s. I was fortunate to have met Mister Rogers and the characters from the show during an open house of his set at WQED. He’s a hero to me and I think of him as a modern day saint.
On a side note, before I was born, my mom was a teacher and taught Mister Rogers’ sons. She said she was initially intimidated during parent-teacher conferences, but was at ease with Mister Rogers’ demeanor - very calm and soft spoken. In fact, she said Mrs. Rogers did most of the talking in their meetings.
Brings me back! How awesome to be able to sit through the film with Mr. McFeely.
It was a surreal experience for sure.
Cute one Jared. I was born in 65. I remember not being that interested in Mr. Rogers or Sesame Street. I think it might not have hit our local tv until early 70s so I may have been too old. Still a good memory. Finally finished it and I got teary. You're a craftsman, Jared.
One of the underrated movies of 2019, a pleasant surprise for me this week. Again one of my favorite channels on youtube, keep up the good work!

May I suggest that you do a show on Thirteen Days movie starring Kevin Costner which is about the Cuban Missile Criisis,
Please do a review of Gangster Squad!
I bicycle to work, and as I'm changing my cycling shoes for my work shoes, I'll make a "Mr. Rogers" reference. I think we've hit the generation who doesn't "get it", because they've never seen the show.
This is a bit obscure - hadn't even heard of this film or the series. Tom Hanks sounds vaguely familiar. Welsh actor Matthew Rhys I know best from The Americans (2013-18) - a series about Soviet sleeper agents (aka "illegals") in 1980s America, and Chris Cooper in everything from The Bourne Identity (2002) to Syriana (2005) and The Kingdom (2007). You guys missed my birthday - May 10, or "the day Hitler invaded the low countries"...
