The dishes discovery is highly fascinating. Preserved in the sand exactly as they were arranged in the cabinet as it slowly rotted away. There's just something very peaceful and calming about that ... amazing considering it's the result of a not-so-peaceful act.
I can say with absolute certainty that the sinking of the Titanic was the very first historical event that truly fascinated me. You could say that it's where my love for the subject of history began.
This is exactly the same for me! Not sure how much you have dug into the subject, but it gets even more interesting when you find out why it sank! Google "central bank, Titanic." You're welcome!
I have that razor! I found it in an old farm dump in my back yard when I was a kid. This is so cool. My parents bought our house that was built on the property of a farm that was built in the late 1800s. Very exciting to know now that it’s over 112 years old. BTW I spent many happy hours digging in that dump and had many cool finds. 👍😁 Tank you. Now my childhood mystery has been solved. 👍😁👍😁
I consider the people who died on the Titanic to be martyrs just like those who were lost in the triangle shirtwaist factory. It sucks that the people have to die horrifically so that some stuffy bureaucrat can do their job and think about safety instead of the bottom line.

I went to the exhibit last week! It was absolutely amazing!!!
Best joke I heard while working in Belfast, Northern Ireland, related to the Titantic - "it was alright when it left us!"
How did they know who it belonged to? Wouldn't it be damaged from the water?
If I recall correctly, the shoes that belonged to Edgar Andrew were located in some luggage with identifying information.
@@awesomedayz3465 Thank you.

I draw the same parallel in the classroom.
Yeah, I would never ever share a room with someone I don't know. One of the main reasons I never stayed in the dorms during my college years.
You are a weird one.
How's it feel to have robbed a graveyard for your profit
