I have a Coolpix 3200, also 3MP. Very nice pictures for such an old camera!

They hold up quite well. The 880 is an ambitious camera with plenty of options and controls (I still haven't tested it thoroughly). For a year 2000 camera, it impresses. Back then I hadn't really used a digical camera -I bought my first own in '03 or '04. The 3200 looks like a slimmed down and more metal 880. :)

The Pictures are really great and 3.3MP is a very usable resolution. I don't know what you are complaining about!!

@@ccderik I have enjoyed your run of digicam vids. I'm wondering if you'll get around to any of the Olympus Camedia series from the late 90's and early 2000s. C-5050 (2003) came my way and it's a beast!

@@cmdrvex Actually I'm planning to do an episode of the C-2100 UZ which looks like one hell of a beast! 😄😁 It'll be an episode for late spring/early summer I guess, if all goes well.

Nikon ain't known for being one of the good digicams from the 2000,s. Winter ain't known as a good time to take photos with a cheap digicam.

I'm sure there are better early 2000 digicams. 🙂Some Fujis are often praised and back in the day I used some decent Olympuses and Canons. Got any tips? You mean because the battery drains faster in winter coldness? I had a good time and the battery held up far better than my Kodak in autumn. 😉

@@ccderik when they first came out in the very early 2000s Olympus were very good digicams. Unfortunately that didn't last too long, not really sure why. Then Canon and Fuji were really good as you said. As you can see on UA-cam a lot of people really praise the Canon G Series of cameras and they are very good. But I prefer the Canon S-Series cameras, which if you look at the specs you will see that they have the same sensor and same specs and shoot raw as well. There are some differences in the lenses but they are all very high quality and the S Canon cameras are smaller and shoot very good images with great color. Canon S45 S50 S60 S70 very good cameras and dare I say almost film look, only cost like 20 to $40 or so isn't that just amazing. The newer S cameras like the S90 S95 S100 S110 S120 are very popular and good cameras but I prefer the older ones because the newer cameras have a tendency to over sharpen the pictures looks like me. Really enjoyed your video.
PS... I was kidding about taking pictures in winter it's just other times a year you have lot more variety of colors and the sunlight is stronger even if it's a cloudy day of course.

@@bobmorr2892 Yeah I see some Canon S-series now and then (like the S50), but they have been quite expensive or not in very good condition. I do remember them from when they were new, in my early digicam browsing days. :) Will definitely keep my eyes open for those models, seem to be typical Canon quality and they have that slick sliding door design.
