I love that we're all doing the same things with the drone. Rig it with C4 or anti vehicle mines when duo'ing and using AP mines when we're solo haha

Ah I never thought of rigging it with a C4 or anti vehicle mine before now, that's genius! I tried to use the drone a few times, but just couldn't get the drone itself to work haha 😅

If I didn't have to constantly respawn every time I wanted a drone back I would totally do more of this.

You don’t have to. You can use the black supply box in spawn to get more drones and explosives without dying. Works best on small maps like frugis and especially namak.

do you use both c4 and the mine or just the mine? me and a buddy were doing just c4, trying to figure whether where you place the explosive on the drone matters. haven't came to a conclusion. any reason to use one over the other?

What's your strat to get the drone there without being shot? Is it just fly super high? I try and fly around cover but always get shot down

Yeah pretty much. I also go for people who are either in combat or distracted because I figure there’s less chance of getting shot down.

Yes but you would need another player to place them. I find c4 works well with other players though so it kind of negates the need for vehicle mines when using the drone.

5+ is ideal, a lot of times though you won’t have groups that big and it isn’t worth loitering in the air waiting. I get more kills per round if I don’t wait too long.
