Thank you for reminding me of this one! When I saw your review, I remembered I had a sample, and immediately got it and sprayed it. So so lovely! I have been looking for this kind of perfume for spring, I have samples of both Infusion de Iris and 1932 from Chanel that go in the same direction, but none of them were quite right. Tanagra was just perfect, the pearnote gives it the right amount of sweetness, it feels a bit flirty, but never girly.

Oh indeed, Tnagra is a perfect bright everyday scent. I love Iris from Prada, but taht is a complely different story for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Wonderful review. Incidentally, as an addendum to Andy's comment below, I was doing a pre-spring fragrance cleaning yesterday and found my bottle of Rocky Mountain Wood. After years of maturation, I find that it got more woody and less floral. Used to love it for the violet, now I love it for the dank cedar. 💜

Thank you :) With all honesty Rocky Mountain Wood has always been the most gorgeous woody scent, I never perceived it as a violet scent for some reason. It is horrible they have both been discointinued.

@@pixieandthenotes It's true, but with the new DSquared Original Wood coming out boasting very similar notes to the original, I'm hoping the line will be making a comeback. Really wishing they would add more fir balsams in upcoming flankers...

    Tanagra sounds lovely.
The He Wood/She Wood line from Dsquared were some of the best violet fragrances I've ever tried. I'm dreading the day when my bottle of Rocky Mountain Wood runs out

Oh She Wood Definitely is. I went through a 100 ml bottle altready, I also love Rocky Mountailn , with all honesty, I still haven't found anything that smells similar.
