Found this, went to the site, ordered a book. Book looks very good. Unlike other music theory I have read this is clear, plain, simple, and short so far.
Yes, very wonderful. Do you have a way that I could see the chords you used? I'm new to tenor banjo and looking for resources to learn with. I have watched several of your other videos as well. You are extremely talented!
Love tenor Banjo especially "Irish tenor Banjo" but the American Jazz Tenor is Great too, wished I had the time to expand but Not until I;ve Mastered The 5 String
@@JimmyTownmouse Oh, it is heavy, I know, but maybe cover with litle change?? I recorded other version with guitar and others instruments ua-cam.com/video/piFIgN8V4gc/v-deo.html
It's possible. Not this exact tuning, CGDA - the A string will always break on a longer 5-string/plectrum scale, but you can remove the 5th string and tune the bottom D down one full step to C and you've got a plectrum banjo. This song sounds good with both tunings.
I’m thinking of buying a tenor banjo for an local antique store I saw today. I want to sing a song like that. So amazing. Such a great feel.

@@jr136100 and please, what special strings do i need? Thanks:)
@@jan_pospisil Any set of tenor banjo strings for CGDA tuning would be fine. I probably have 9 gauge D'addario strings here.
Could you do something like this on a five string?
yes
