  • The Rikon 60-2500 2.5hp cyclone dust collector is new to the market and worth looking at. In this video will cover my assembly, overview, and first thoughts. Like other Rikon tools, this is an impressive machine!
The launch of this to production is likely in the fall of 2021.
Keep watching for a future video covering my dust pipe upgrade and full testing.

Hey Chris thats a cool system. Thanks for sharing it. I think I coud be Rikon's newest fn as well. Just got their new 6 inch bench top belt sander with 10 inch sanding disc. Sweet! I'm eying yur Rikon bandsaw. I also like my wood racks!

Thanks for watching. I'm very impressed with the system. Wait until you see my video of my pipe upgrade and the HUGE difference it made.
I do love my bandsaw and also have the same 6" sander. I am working towards their spindle sander. That is a nice tool.
      Great products all around!

It would be interesting to see a comparison bypassing the cyclone on the Rikon 60-2500 and using the super dust deputy.

If I were to keep the 4" inlet as my main, that certainly would be interesting to compare.
I have already moved it to its final place and converted it all over to 8" and 6" pipes. The CFM is amazing but I do find the Duper Dust Deputy does catch more fine dust in the drum before it ever reaches the filter.
Apart from that, I absolutely love this machine.

I absolutely love it. I still have a few things to tidy up and take care of with my dust pipe upgrade, but it is even better numbers from my initial tests on the 6 & 8" pipe

@@ChristcrossCrafts that's great! any guess what the price will when they start selling it?

@@budlloyd3127 Not a clue, but compared to their other tools vs the competition, it will be cheaper.

@@ChristcrossCrafts that's what I like to hear! though I'm probably gonna have to stick to a good old fashioned broom for my dust collection for now haha

@@budlloyd3127 I did that for years and nothing wrong with it. Now that I've been doing this a long time, I'm feeling the impact of inhaling dust all that time.

Sometimes being taller saves time on not needing to find a step stool.

Yep! I also bump my head less, so it works out I guess.
