I am glad I got the Underground Arsenal Van when it was on sale. This to me looks rough and boxy. I prefer the look and play value of the Underground Arsenal Van to what I am seeing here. That's just my preference though. Doesn't require panel swapping nor does it require the removal of the door chair. It's a shame more influencer's didn't review that van I guess if it's not a licensed product they have no interest in it regardless of how good it is. I guess I could wait for Geek Dan Life or Mad Hatters comparison of the two.
Same-The underground arsenal van destroys this IMO. Overall colors and a few trim pieces on this one is better to me, but the seat thing is killing me here.

It's pretty big, but I'm sure the Underground Arsenal Turtle Van is much bigger (and the biggest one in existence). I'd suggest checking that one out.
Yeah, the Underground Arsenal version is bigger, the side sit folds in so you don't need to remove it for close the door and the back panel from the front can be down to have access to the front sits or close the entire inner vehicle.
The underground arsenal one is the only one I have besides the reissue vintage and its the only one I need.
Amazing! I would only play once with it. Got alot of Party Wagons the Original, 25th Anniversary, Classic Collection, Funko POP, small Hot Wheels, Jada Die Cast, even Mutatin Road Ready Splinter, and now NECA. Can't wait for the Super7 one too.
I would have loved to have this more show accurate van back when I was a kid! Sadly, action figures are not really in my budget anymore, but it's fun to see them nonetheless.
Mmm, I think the Underground Arsenal version looks better and do way better some things like the folding cannon so you don't have to remove the entire chair to close the door and the back panel for access front sits from behind or close the inner vehicle.
I disagree I think this NECA version is more aesthetically pleasing.

I don't trust reviewers that don't purchase product for review themselves. Not only are they more likely to give an unbiased opinion, but their videos don't come across like a toy commercial. Which, lets face it, most of Dan's videos are: advertisments for the toys that he is given for free.
Today I took a karate class at South River Martial Arts in Edgewater, Maryland! I meditated, learned punches and kicks, used a punching bag, practiced with target paddles and practiced with nunchucks, when I saw the nunchucks I was like “Hey, that’s what Michelangelo uses!” After that we went bowling and my score was 113

wow. That seemed like a pretty thorough review.
It's nice to see how cool it is and things to watch out for.
I think the UA Van is a solid win on every front save for paint and packaging. It is WAY more durable, includes a functional and better-looking side gun, better top guns that ratchet, lay flat, and extend. With some decals and a couple cans of spray paint the UA Van just eats NECA's lunch 5 days a week.
Always loved the toon design of the turtle van & they definitely nailed! Looks awesome! Working headlights is a nice touch!
It's a really neat looking vehicle.
The cartoon accurate look is a lot of fun.

I do have the Underground Arsenal version which is great and I definitely love that you don’t have to remove the gunner seat. I might get this and do a comparison and see which I like better.

That’s going to get broken day 1, by a lot of people. They are putting way too much weight on that tiny single hinge.

I kind of understand what people mean. When they said it was too boxy, it really should have occurred by the doors of the Van at the front. but still it is a wonderful Van. I cannot understand how that would be missed considering the shows inconsistencies with the artwork. But still it's wonderful. also I feel like the back wheel. The yellow part of the wheels should come down a little bit more. But that could be just me. Still what a wonderful van.

I do like how the tech wall and battle wall is optional, but I've always preferred the Turtle Van without the tech wall and battle wall since that's how it was seen in most episodes of the 1987 TV series.
It would be great if Neca made a turtle van for the 1990 movie version and also created a bebop and rocksteady and a shredder with clothing style from the series

I forgot which day the preorder ended and missed the window to order. I hope they make it available again. Would be silly to change the design after orders close and not allow people another chance.
If I had the money and more importantly, the space, this would be no-brainer for me to get. It looks absolutely gorgeous.

I would love to see a comparison of this with the third party Underground Arsenal van. I am looking for one for the larger playmates figures OR the Loyal Subjects BST AXN Turtles. For the former I was wondering if I should go NECA or UA but now, for the BSTAXN turtles I'm thinking of tracking down a cowabunga carl van.
If I already didn't collect Transformers, already spending a fortune on them, and already having a house about to explode with toys everywhere, I'd be collecting the NECA Turtles line. It's all stunning and so toon accurate it's unreal. I wish they could make all the Transformers this perfectly accurate to the cartoon.

That gunner seat is a huge design flaw, as is that tiny little hinge that holds the door on.
This is definitely better scaled with the figures, the UA van is a little too big and feels like it fits the super7 figures more. Glad I pre-ordered this, it'll look cool with the collection at least
Does anyone know the history with the interchangeable usage of the terms "party wagon" & "turtle van"? Did playmates just make up a name for its own product? was it ever uttered in the cartoon as a party wagon? (maybe by michaelangelo?)

I feel the on/off switch for the headlights could have been better placed, like on the dashboard or something easier to access. Having the entire thing posed with figures and then having to tip it sidesways to turn on the lights seems like a questionable design.
The hinge on the "battle door" needs to have two hinges for sure. That is way too much torque on that small hinge and if you have a figure hanging on the door surely over time it will weaken that hinge.
No mention regarding quality control of the paint applications? Right after broken/missing parts, that's my biggest concern. Oh, and scuffs and scratches to the paint and windshield straight from the factory. It's cool that you showcased the assembly and features of it, but how might someone who's buying these on the aftermarket decide if it's worth the money without that info??? Not really a complete "review" without mentioning those things.

Hi Pixel Dan, I've been subscribed to your channel for years and I'm very happy about it. I love your videos of these splendid products, in particular I am very fond of the world of the Masters of the universe and the Ninja Turtles. The Turtle Van Neca product is beautiful, but there is one doubt that I would like to remove. I own the 4 Ninja Turtles from the Bandai series. Would it be possible to know if they fit inside? 🤔
Imo the build quality looks flimsy & brittle. I understand it's difficult to mimic animation in 3D but idk something looks off. Maybe it's too small? Do the wheels even move?
Bit disappointed they didn't include at least an option for a launcher as you see in the opening credits...

I pre ordered one. should come this month then. I ordered this. HasLab Deathsaurus is coming next month. After that Then should be Eternia in spring. I am so glad I got this instead of the super 7 turtle party wagon. That one was just, way, way too much for a vehicle. This one makes more sense as well for half the price.

I think that the reason you didn't get the batteries is because these review samples often get air mailed. They can't mail the batteries that way. I believe Veebs from the Fwoosh was told that was the reason.
Underground Arsenal Turtle VanTank for the win!
Wow. Seeing it next to the original, and knowing Playmates can sell the original- presently, in today's manufacturing costs!- for $49 on the most recent reissue, definitely makes the NECA Van feel unnecessarily marked up price-wise.
The original is tiny of course it will cost less.
