For added effect, lick-n-stick a 2nd quarter on opposite hand. Present palms with wiggling fingers. Do this this trick as usual and produce 50cents. Or stash a paper currency note folded into a square and say you can change a quarter into a dollar. Dramatically unfold the dollar while hiding the quarter between thumb and forefinger at presentation. They'll be so amazed. When you stretch out to produce bill, slightly turn to ditch quarter in back pocket or wherever. They're focusing on the bill.
Do this method quickly because saliva dries quickly. I've successfully used "fixodent" denture cream for similar tricks.

Hi guys! Looking for a little advice. I've always loved magic and want to learn to do a few tricks well. I feel that by far my biggest problem though is that I have difficulty grasping the basic idea behind slight of hand. I try to imitate what's going on in videos like these, and I find that I often make my movements too obvious and if not, I at least feel very unsure whether my movements are convincing. The movements of those doing magic - such as the person in this video - look very natural, whereas I feel sort of like I'm contorting and can't help but pause and hesitate to make certain movements. I'm not sure if this makes all that much sense - I kind of feel like maybe I don't get the basic idea behind sleight of hand or something. Is this just normal because I'm a beginner?

PuPeTMaStEr I use the back of my hands to vanish coins occasionally, as long as you keep all your spectators in front of you, and turn your body to the left a little when you show your open hands you should be fine. Practice in front of your phone camera at slightly different angles and heights to get your angles down. That's good advice for all coin magic, really.

So what? The best tricks get can get revealed and/or do and only some know the secret, super simple but they still work. Its not about the trick, but how its done and built up.
Magic textbooks have been showing would-be magicians how to do tricks for centuries. A million views is nothing. I can almost guarantee that no one you know who is not a magician has seen this.
