Following the official compilation of the results from Tameside Council, we are delighted to be crowned as overall Tameside Whit Friday Champions for 2024! 🎉
A huge congratulations to our friends at Rothwell Temperance Band and the Leyland Band on their overall awards too; it was great to listen to both bands sounding magnificent at Hyde and Lydgate! 👏

A fantastically accurate and consistent performance of a 115 year old piece, played by the band every year, for the last 25 years. If there is ever a reference of performance to gauge a brass band against, this could well be it.
