- This weeks Fly Fishing Premier Show has Don Freschi and Kathy Ruddick showing how they are fly fishing for trout at a beautiful lake in the Cariboo Region of BC using Damselfly Nymph patterns. It was a blustery day on the water but Don and Kathy were able to hook and land a few solid, chrome Rainbow Trout.

We filmed this show in 2022.
Don - looks like you're using a nylon/cloth net. Our Oregon club changed over to "only rubber" nets a few years ago and the fish don't get their teeth stuck in the cloth and the rubber is much better for not rubbing the protective slim off of the fish...
All our nets are rubber but we used the one Kathy had in her boat. She now has a new rubber net 🤩👌👌
