The Houston area is bracing for "catastrophic" flooding Friday as severe downpours and extreme weather pummel parts of Texas.
Harris County's Office of Emergency Management moved to its highest activation level Friday morning in anticipation of the imminent flooding, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo told reporters during a news conference.
Hidalgo warned residents that the forecast has changed as heavy rains have already fallen in northern Polk County and will make their way to Harris County sooner than expected.

Been watching IMA Survivor animal sanctuary and they had to move most of their animals out to save their lives. Their fields were completely flooded. An elderly couple UA-cam Pawpaw have had their home flooded and furniture ruined. The Morrow family are coming together to help out. It would be nice if people could get together to donate funds to help the sanctuary and this elderly couple in Plum Grove.
Last time when the solar eclipse happened in Aug 2017, Houston had that big flood, now we had the eclipse last month, here goes the flood again.

I'm surprised the flooding from this series of storms is worse in Liberty County than from Hurricane Harvey which was an exceedingly rare event historically.

En los últimos años Texas ha crecido en Urbanización son más las calles asfaltadas edificios y no tienen en cuenta que se elimina con eso el drenaje natural, al las grandes compañías que pagan por ganar las licitaciones no se les exige también crear un sistema de drenaje porque los políticos contratan a compañías que les pagan mucho
