- Quick vid on the S9 Ultra official outdoor cover case.
After using it for some time now I can say that it has some issues and it's not worth the price.
The 'grips' on the back are useless as your hands do not fall on those when holding the tablet so you end up on the smooth plastic bits.
It seems to be slightly off in size as the edges "move" and you feel it through your hand, it's an odd feeling.
They cut the ridges on the front too high and sharp so making the grip on the side a bit useless as your hands do not fall on it naturally when holding.
A wasted opportunity to make an excellent case, only the kick stand is good as can use it in bed / on your lap / table etc and it's very stable.
This is by far the best case for the tab S9. Indoors and outdoors!
I have the S9 Plus since December, and my Outdoor Cover should arrive tomorrow. Till now, I am using the Samsung Keyboard and mouse cover, kind of expensive, but nice for working on Excel and Word, but for all other applications, this Outdoor Cover seems the perfect choice. Hi I'm a student, when using the case does it wobble when writing on the tablet? I write a lot of notes and don't want it to wobble when laying flat.
After 6 months, have you received any response? I have the same question.
@xandefranca I saw somewhere else that it is NOT stable to write on. I would recommend another case for students. Spigen has great cases, stable to write on but not for the s9 ultra.

You can probably use it upside down on the Ugreen stand, if you open the cases stand a bit, so it doesnt touch the back of the Ugreen stand.

i don't know why this case is SOOO HARD TO FIND. i've checked both local and global sellers and can't seem to find one. It's annoying. Anyway, it looks perfect based on your video. Hoping to get one the soonest.
The cons outweigh the pro's, after using it for a few days it was really annoying hearing the noise it made due to the bad fitting sides, which did not cover the edges of the screen properly, I sent it back and now have no case 😢
I think Samsung know the case has problems so are not making a lot of them, maybe I will get another one and see if they have a different batch that actually fits properly

@@Her_Vajesty I've had this case since the tablet came out. I love the case and haven't really had any problems with mine. Samsung is always out of it but I was able to order it through their business website (even though I don't have a business account)
How's it holding up now? I heard people saying the hinge becomes loose over time. Have you experienced the same issue?
I CAN NOT FIND THIS CASE!!! I bought mine directly from Samsung but they don't have it, Amazon doesn't have it and, as far as I can tell, nobody in the States has it for sale. 😢
Hi, don't waste your time on this case. I have sent it back and now have no case as not many options at the moment.
why send it back if it's a very nice case?
Quality control issues, it does not fit properly and makes a strange noise on the sides when you hold it, after a few days of heavy use I could not live with it any longer, a shame really as it could have been the best case for the tablet.
I was able to get mine from Samsung Business. I googled it and it showed they had it. I don't have a Samsung Business account but was still able to get it. I hope you can get it this way. I actually like this case a lot

when it stands vertically, can you type or select something with your finger on the upper half of the screen without tipping over?
I would say yes, but you have to be careful, press hard and it will fall
Too many bad reviews compared to last year's case for the S8 Ultra and it's just not for sale any where - Samsung really need to step up their game with availability of accessories before releasing new products 🎉
They did the same with the S23 Ultra protective case, it's a monstrosity, the designers should just stick to what works and not try to be fancy, it's like non of them actually use the product they designed the case for, I may have to get the S8 case and modify it. The Poetic is an option but I have one for my Tab S3 and it is baggy, on the ultra it will be very loose but not much choice.
@@iwillovertakeyou I modified the S8 Ultra case from last year and did a decent job, just make sure you use a very sharp knife and go slow - drilled and extra hole for the second mic but it's just as effective as the S8 Ultra fitting once modded 👍 plays great with stands as well...
Does this push screen protector off like spigen cases?
I have Spigen cases and they don't push screen protectors off.
Why on earth don't you just get a tripod and review this properly, I'm having seizures watching this with all the close ups and phone camera moving up and down and only showing half of what you're meant to be showing.
Overpriced piece of junk. 10 euro tops should be!
