the corner ninja kick, its interesting watching the original footage of honnald doing it, and what you figured out after a few tries, you end up with your body in the same general position (low back leg to help spring the front leg and keep balance) but the specific moves were different.
Two super likeable UA-cam legends having a blast, making you smile non-stop. Eric's thriving by the minute. How on earth is Louis able to hold on to anything with so much tape on his fingers? Enjoyed watching every minute ;)
Excellence collab and showing what you can achieve with a positive attitude ❤. My biggest respect to Eric for keeping the spirit up during hard times and to Louis for his humble way of teaching. Love it!
Oh wow this is awesome. Eric and Louis in the same video. I know I'm super duper late, but I've literally just found out about Louis's channel, Catalyst Climbing, recently. Through a video that he did with Erin McNeice, who I think is one of the best young competition climbers atm.
Got into climbing a couple weeks ago, had been watching Magnus for a while before that, I found you through him and have been really enjoying your video's. Really admire the fact that after everything you still love to climb!
So cool! I have a vision that in a year or two, I’m going to the UK and climbing with Louis. It’s not terribly expensive for what you get. I really like his coaching style!
this video was insane i didnt know you two knew for long time. I found catalyst climb months ago and then you erick. This was such a pleasure to watch and how hard are you starting to climb again and with that motivation and mentality ;) makes us get up and go climbing with the best energy
I'm so incredibly happy to get notifications regarding your videos again, Eric! For someone watching youtube a lot, a month between each one feels like an eternity.
It's always a joy to see your videos, one can see that you do all of them with a lot of heart. Happy to see you making progress - keep it up, "Jacks broken heart" is waiting for you!
What a lovely video - this was so heartwarming and positive! Camaraderie between you and Louis was joyous, and it was great to hear Louis talk more about his own ups and downs. Awesome send on that blue, Eric! 🙌 Really nice music choices - very different from the sort of tunes you typically get soundtracking vids of indoor sessions, but complemented the vibe perfectly. Also enjoyed the bonus doggo. 🥰🐶
17:06 guys idk if I can say this, sitting hundreds kilometers away, without trying Alex Honnold's boulder myself, but here are my thoughts anyway You were placing your foot on the wrong hold to make kick version you should put your right foot on the right of two footholds, to let it push you into the wall, and after kick you should stand on 2 feet just holding balance with your hand
I liked some of the intimate camera work. When they were joking about calling Alex Honnold up and Louis couldn't remember the Free Solo director's name I blurted out "Jimmy Chin!" as if he'd be able to hear me 😆
Amazing video as always, Eric! I actually met Louis at Dogpatch boulders in San Francisco when he was out there last, super nice and good vibes collab! Random question from seeing you travel more recently - does your balance issue affect activities like driving? Since getting some migraine/vision issues driving can be an issue at times and am curious how others with not run of the mill health things deal/push forward/adapt/etc. Understand if this is a weird/personal ask, no worries on responding. :)
Another way Louie and I are different climbers. When he s feeling fragile or vulnerable he'll climb some slab. I, on the other hand, need to feel strong and courageous to hop on a slab 😅😅😂
He has a video about it on his channel. It's called "Why I left UA-cam for 3 months and why the future Is uncertain.", the balance thing starts at 12:42.

Big thank you to Louis for all the help in this video! ☺️ and also a big thank you to Emil for filming! ❤️
Such a lovely session mate! So good to see you trying hard 🔥

It's nice hearing someone as good as Louis talking about having "off" days and how he deals with them!
"Big Daddy Magnus"
Not sure how to deal with this one. Don't think I can ever look at him the same way ever again.

Louis AND Eric in one video? My partial dream come true. One of the days I’ll climb with both.
Such a great pair
The chemistry between Eric and Louis hits the sweet spot. Two inspiring, strong funny and cool climbers. Loved this video!
So satisfying to see you back on the wall, mate.
Especially after all you've been through.
Keep it up.
Had a tough time? 😕
Love it! And Louis just continues to be the most encouraging person out there.
Two inspiring and charismatic people climb together. I really enjoyed this one
Magnus may be 'big daddy', but Louis looks like a mummy with those fingers
Haha this comment is definitely underrated 😂

The collab I have been waiting, happy it is finally here. Going to watch it now

What a duo, great to see you so well and strong! Best regards mate!!

Yessss another vid! And so soon after the last one
Love this video and the vibes. Feels like the new version of old school EKB videos which youtube fell in love with

Haha, so nice. When Louis did that first boulder, I was surprised he didn't use the heelhook for the last move, but than Eric did use it 😂
I love those two! So psyched to watch the video ❤
Super excited to watch this one!
What a lovely, lovely video. Great session, Eric!
I'm excited for this one!

A perfect lunchtime distraction; thanks Eric!
Good stuff Eric!!!!

Sooo nice that you could sent this so fast!! 🤯🥳😍

Great Timo Kuilder shirt, Louis!
Hahaha I love that dog. Great video
Thank you for your videos!
Big thank you my man ❤️

Beautiful video, keep it coming :)
I remember trying that problem when it was first set, I am sure it was graded at 6b+ which I thought was crazy at the time
rip the vauxwall arch :(
Great!
Louis learned from the best (Ink)
holy moly
Magnus should sponsor you forever.
Abbey Expressway
Loved it:)
great video - but the dog 😍
Blick Fort
I can tell this was a while ago. The arch is the middle is gone now :(
Why did they take it away?
@@EricKarlsson From what I heard, it had caused a lot of accidents. Not entirely sure how but... Shame it was a particularly unique fixture...
@@DrunkenGlums aah I see, thank you for the update :)
You seem to climb with a hat a lot now…is that to help balance by eliminating peripherals? Or just preference?
Just been to lazy to get my hair cut 😅

Can you explain the story about how you lost your balance? From your old videos it seems like you was a pretty strong 8a boulderer.,
He has a video about it on his channel. It's called "Why I left UA-cam for 3 months and why the future Is uncertain.", the balance thing starts at 12:42.
Tried to link to it, but youtube apparently removes even intra-youtube links. Sorry. :)
What’s the song at 4:41?
Kushty.
@12:48 @EricKarlsson you've done better than Alex Megos! (Sorry Alex, cheap shot)
Middle finger for the clickbait.
First?!
Yes :D
Bro looking like John Cena 😊
