@@_red_crewmate Well we are no longer in control of the batter, or the addons, so it’s all under his power be it lessened without are influence. Hey did you see that retrospective on OFF, it was awesome.
Mortis said that there is only one true Batter. All that changes in the game is your perspective of him. You siding with Pablo also made you think of him as a villain. Although those who were thinking more clearly during the game reference to his human looks. This song makes me feel so So everything I haven't played the game yet (although I know what it's about) so I don't know what context it plays in but it feels like a calm before a storm, like rushing to pack your bags before some catastrophe comes and lays waste to your home, and like looking onward solemnly at the oncoming terror that brings certain death.
Interesting. I instead feel that this music has evil, determination, and power in equal parts. Like the kind of music that would be playing while a mad scientist is building his orbital death ray and mumbling "I'll show them all... They will learn respect." (Where the mad scientist is the protagonist.) I guess both are building up to a big evil event, but the repetitiveness of the tune makes me think of a progressive build up and not a sudden one.
I can't decide if I like this or Dialga's Fight to the Finish better. Actually, on second thought, I'd have to say this because of the sheer hopelessness and urgency it gives off.

Mash them up for even more epicness. The floor crumbles between two friends as they face off against the beast before them. They had barely beaten Dusknoir; with Grovyle gone, how are they supposed to beat this thing? It seems hopeless for anyone to combat it. The two heroes looked at each other. One had tears in their eyes with a sad smile, the other had a determined look. One hero gave another a hug. "In case we don't make it out alive, I just want you to know that you are the person I care about most, and it's been an honor to fight alongside you." The duo pulled apart and set their focus to the oncoming beast. "Let's go." One threw a Stun Seed while the other strengthened themselves: The fight for time itself has begun.
You could also say that you played the whole game seeing the Batter through his own eyes, where he thought he was justified. The end of the game is the only time you get an outside perspective of a man who could kill his wife, and that's what you see. Sugar also said something about a scary duck. Which bad!Batter vaguely looks like, if you take into account that she was a hopeless soylent green-crack addict xD

Yes and from that I was able to conclude that Hugo had a power similar to the guardians of the zones. But the fact that he's a human and The Batter isn't and also The Batter calls The Room "the cradle of his father" in his talk with The Queen only leads to the conclusion that Hugo created The Batter & The Queen to have a father & mother to not be lonely. It's not stated outright but it's the only conclusion that can be made from Mortis Ghost's posts and the game's dialogue.
+Spike Rose >sick and DYING Who ever said Hugo was dying >Had the guts to PUT DOWN He didn't put him down, he murdered him. Hugo was defense-less and scared. All he did was defend himself. >Only evil in Pablo's eyes No, you obviously haven't looked deep enough into this. The batter was like that all along, the PLAYER never saw it because we thought he was good.
To add to that, it's very mildly implied that the burnt elsens are normal elsens and not monsters, and the batter only kills them because they get in his way (Like the critic-burnt for blocking the subway and the Pastel-burnt for not giving up the music box). But Spike does have an interesting point, especially since there is a fan theory floating around about how the OFF switch is the switch to Hugo's life support machine, and that the Judge is representing Hugo's inability to accept death, hiding behind his friends (the guardians) and his mother (Vader Eloha, yes I am aware he created the queen and is technically not related to her, but he most likely created her to be his mom). In the official ending, Hugo dies. In the special ending, he's a vegetable and is stuck in a coma. Just a theory, but Mortis Ghost encourages fan theory so for all we know it could be 100% correct. I have my own theory that Zack, the Judge, and the lone Elsen who locked himself in a bunker when the ghosts were attacking zone 2 (literally the only three people that survive if you choose the special ending) will become the next three guardians (I'm not sure how Pablo can guard zone 0 and zone 1 at the same time, but nobody lives in zone 0 anyway so it should be easy.). And Sugar/sucre becomes the next queen (assuming you don't kill her).
Your theory is nice, and I said nothing about the pills, but if we learnt too much about OFF, it would lose much of it's interestingness, so what you said isn't canon, but it can be a headcanon. Simply because the batter is not a human does not mean hugo created the world or was holding the world up. It's likely that the Judge was actually the one doing that, considering the place wasn't purified until he fell.
I'm starting to think maybe The Batter isn't bad exactly, he's just the only one that had the guts to put down a sick and dying child. Hence why he only looks evil in Pablo/The Judge's eyes.

@@majorkingonix1120 as far as I know, and from what I've played, OFF isn't a terror game, it's actually an RPG with a bit of psychological horror. FNaF is a terror game, the game's atmosphere is based around dead children and robots who will scare the shit out of you if you're not careful. That's why they're completely different games.
Now I'd like to know if you have any factual evidence to back up your claims. Because none of my points are without evidence. If you want to see Mortis's Posts, go to the OFF wikia and look up The Batter's character page and there will be links to Mortis's posts on deviantART showing him confirming that Hugo is a human while Batter isn't. I don't guess. I can only conclude based on all the evidence given in the game and by Mortis that these points are valid.
Just look up a video. That would be quicker. But don't let me stop you from playing I guess. The Batter & The Judge fought in the last part of The Room near the control switch that kept the world going. But by the time The Judge even arrived, The Room was already purified. Just because a world is purified doesn't mean it vanishes. Just like the other Zones that were purified, they still remained but they lost all their color and people. They became wastelands. So did The Room with Hugo.
I personally do not know why jumpscares are so popular nowadays instead of true horror like OFF and the Genocide route of Undertale. The FNAF games take jumpscares and run with it... and the poor dev burnt himself out on it by releasing a game every 9 months (give or take)(And that is why UNDERTALE dethroned FNAF so easily... not saying that UNDERTALE is bad though). But that's not why everyone wants to crucify FNAF. Unlike most fandoms (they are crazy at the best of times), FNAF's fandom is just sickening to look at. It usually consists of 5 year olds and adults acting as such screaming about god knows what. At least with the UNDERTALE fandom, you can reasonably explain away the fandom as an Alternate Universe due to how the game 99999999999999999999999ed the forth wall.
***** Yeah, I get you now. FNAF was good with the storyline but it didn't bode well in game mechanic diversity. OFF and Undertale were special in that effect, no wonder those two were glorified. Thank you, my
Yeah, hate is a great vigor that takes a lot to vanquish. Fanbases praise differently though, like the complex of attacking an enemy messenger on home base.
dude there definetly a music in undertale that sounds like this one. listen to "Here we Are" and maybe you'll understand. and please don't treat us like we're retarded e_e
But he's like a baby. And the elsen sigh whenever they talk. And dedan screeches. It's simply a matter of immersion. Maybe hugo simply coughs like a regular person.
It's not guessing. I have actual facts to back up my talk. Especially facts straight from Mortis Ghost himself from when he posts & talks on deviantART. If you pay attention in The Room it says The Batter tried to give Hugo pills. They obviously didn't work. The Batter also calls the world "the cradle of his father". This means that while The Batter is a father figure to Hugo, he didn't make Hugo but Hugo made him. This is only more reinforced by Mortis saying Hugo is human while Batter isn't.
The Elsen breath when they talk. Not cough. Hugo coughs ALL the time like a sick person. It's also shown in The Room that The Batter tried to make him take pills to get better. But it never worked. Hugo created The Batter & The Queen to have a father & mother so he wouldn't be lonely. He's human while The Batter & Queen are not. He's also like the guardians as when the Batter had to purify him, The Room became pure as well. In a sense he was holding the world up but he was dying & so the world.
He probably was sick, I made a mistake. If I remember right, The Judge comes into the room to kill the batter, and the room still isn't pure, so if Hugo created the room (a possibility) he might run on different rules than the guardians, and can change it at will, but it will continue to exist if he dies (which he did)
Well, my interpretation is that the Queen and the child were his wife and son, and that he went insane and created a reality in which everything around him was evil. And in The Judge's ending, he died from an aneurysm. (The Judge's special attacks were stuff like "Ruptured Aneurysm".)

ppl in the comments acting like people can't like more than one thing, getting their panties in a twist over people saying this sounds like another song. get the fuck over it dude, let people like what they like as long as they aren't hurting anyone smh. yes, this song *does* sound like songs from su, undertale, and homestuck. guess what! songs tend to sound like each other! now stop throwing a fit and let people like what they like in peace damn it.
I agree. The fighting in the comments is a fine display of some very *UNREASONABLE BEHAVIOUR*
how the fuck does this sound like a a song from su, undertale, or homestuck
is it weird that i love the soundtrack?
no, i love it as well
+Fandom Freak No, not weird at all. It is one of the best video game soundtracks in my opinion.
+Endermender110 Me threeIn fact I just got it yesterday might as well play to that point :P
Sounds like the Matrix and Saw's ost had a kid, but couldn't keep him, so OFF adopted him.
this is in my opinion way better than Pepper Steak.
any track in off is better than pepper steak
@@deltathedummy2303 your opinion is your own, but man
Hugo is the guardian representing meat, so I guess you're right.
My favorite song from one of my favorite soundtracks.
I spent like ten minutes looking for this song
I really like the beat of this.
Stop Japhet! You are displaying such Unreasonable Behavior!
I'll see myself out....
FNaF: W-Who are you?
Off: I'm you, but stronger
probably dead inside i like fnaf too, but gotta say that off is better, it has an interesting story
What? Are you comparing two completely different games? All right then.
Let's compare Avengers with Undertale in this case.
@@sh0bez Let's compare spaghetti with apples
@@sh0bez OFF is a terror game. FNaF too. And people and saying how OFF is even better than FNaF.
Ok, Who else on there first try didn't get any of the vaults or the burnt's?
Will-A- Wisp Welp, not me either.
Me.
I came here from blamo
Whats blamo?
YES!! OH MY JESUS I FOUND IT!!
Purify
to free from guilt or evil.
How interesting
Alright, I'll replay the entire game then.
Still if that happened, where did the batter fight the judge if it wasn't the room?
bajscast The only other « battle » between the Judge and the Batter is the tutorial in zone 0.
WHY WOULD THIS FIT IN A HS FLASH? [S]:Purify?
you are right
why are you right
OFFの曲の中でも特に好き…!
Am I to late in to this fandom? Or.....?
no I'm too late
never too late
@@littlehorn0063 yep
By looking at the comments, some speak of fnaf in regards of interesting disdain. Can I hear the history behind this?
Fanbases praise differently though, like the complex of attacking an enemy messenger on home base.
fnaf isn't that good, but the story of it's creation is pretty inspiring
I guess you could say that Undertale fans are displaying Unreasonable Behavior towards FNAF fans.
+koolbowser961 hope OFF wont get caught in all this
Thank you.
Thanks for the extended cut!
i remember this playing in a roblox game where you go inside trains and go to stations to weird and strange places
これすき
I view the Batter similar to that of James Sunderland in the same way Spike Rose does.
I just thought I'd make the metaphor.
this sounds like something from knack
This song is so twisted and badass.
whenever i hear this my brain goes to hurrican by 30 seconds to mars- i should think the opposite tbh
This sounds like it’s from garry’s mod
holy crap youre right this would fit perfectly into the soundtrack
I love this track-
does anyone else think this sounds like the music in TBOI?
+Endermender110 I think it's undertale. Also, the music period.
Compare this to the true lab theme.
?
Borderlands 2 reference.
dude there definetly a music in undertale that sounds like this one. listen to "Here we Are" and maybe you'll understand.
and please don't treat us like we're retarded e_e
.
saw vibes
no, the dedan battle is "Fake Orchestra"
But he's like a baby. And the elsen sigh whenever they talk. And dedan screeches. It's simply a matter of immersion. Maybe hugo simply coughs like a regular person.
Tension! Choir! Evil! I love it~!
Sounds like despacito
It was a joke, dont kill me please...
it really does ;o
Saving lives? Why?
Can anyone tell me the name of the site for Off? Because it won't show me anything relating to the webcomic I keep hearing about ._.
ok I know I'm 4 years late but OFF is a video game not a webcomic.
I am 8 years late but yeah off is not a webcomic like RottingMoss said, where did you got that idea from?
If I remember right, The Judge comes into the room to kill the batter, and the room still isn't pure, so if Hugo created the room (a possibility) he might run on different rules than the guardians, and can change it at will, but it will continue to exist if he dies (which he did)
Slow it down and you can call it Insanity
Well, my interpretation is that the Queen and the child were his wife and son, and that he went insane and created a reality in which everything around him was evil. And in The Judge's ending, he died from an aneurysm. (The Judge's special attacks were stuff like "Ruptured Aneurysm".)
I don't think Hugo was sick.
umm why are there fnaf comments here? i don't get it. all i can think is gaster...
*_odd, kind of sounds like steven universe._*
+Saηѕ Ƭнє ƇнιƖƖ SкєƖєтση (Lєη'ѕ Ɓαє) * Oh snap, there's one song in particular that this reminds me of but the name alludes me at the moment!
