Best parkour film i saw was back in the early stages. I've no clue where it went, i know it was in France, i recognized the Parisian suburbs instantly AND, it was filmed in POV. It put the chills on the back of your neck. No doubt it's either down, or so potato right now that nothing can repair it, but i still hope to find it one day. That was my intro to Parkour, the ethos. There was no fluff, no fuzz, it was just you, the guy, and the drops. Would also like to point out that for the time of its filming, which was eons ago, as far as i'm concerned, it was highly elaborate in technical skills, the guy knew what he was doing and had done it for a while.

Has potential to be a special kind of shot among the more traditional once to pull you in, but as a single technique used brings out the exhaustive quality of the style. Kinda gives me the vibes of trying to watch a full movie that has been cut by some one whose long carreer revolved around super fast paced music videos.
-As a single style to shoot - Too hectic and exhaustive (tiktok on steroids).
-Used as a spice among other styles - Works wonders.
Over all this was a nice case study. Thx.

So... what’s the actual circle theory here? I’m interested to know how you approached this filming! Looks super super cool - you’ve always shot cool angles I think! Idk if there are resources which go into ‘how to film parkour for noobs with just an iphone or gopro’ but I’d sign up to watch some of that, make my own shots better 😆

Pretty cool video, but I think its way more disorienting than POV footage. I think it has something to do with the way the environment warps, skews, and changes scale throughout each line. Its kind of like when you use an ultra wide lens and tilt the camera up and down, the perspective changes become very noticeable and nauseating. I also think it really made alot of the movement less impressive as it diminished the scale the environment. Though it did put more focus on the athletes movements and keep them in view the entire time which is cool. Perhaps an entire vid of this is too much, but clips interspersed with traditional camera footage would be cool.

Same here. I suppose something like "Лучший способ для съёмки паркура!? - Круговая теория." should do but I couldn't find translated info about circle theory. So I translated it literally. If you need it. Alternatively, you can try "Идеальный метод для съёмки паркура!? - Круговая теория".
