Another masterpiece by Tyler. I'm so happy you heard the sigh at the end of the song. Some people tend to stop it too early and I feel that the sigh at the end make the song what it is. So glad your going song by song!! Can't wait for the next. Then you'll have to add in the MTV Unplugged show after you've heard them all in original form. .stay alive l-/
Tara Ragni I know I was actually shocked that he caught that. Ok so my secret shame is that im addicted to watching T∅P reaction videos lol. Of all the reactions to this song this is the first time I've seen anyone catch that. Just like at the end of the Car radio music video when Tyler stands up and puts his hand under his chin in the shape of a gun and squeezes the trigger no one catches that hardly either and even though it might seem insignificant imo it actually shows Tyler's hopelessness and his desperation. It's heartbreaking but so important. God bless you fren ❤️🙏❤️

Trapdoor is one of my favorites from Self Titled! Very good reaction as always, it's a very sad song that can also be related to the narrative of Twenty One Pilots that you will see later! I know you're not reacting to the album in order but I'm still looking forward to your reaction to Taxi Cab and Friend, Please, can't wait!

One thing to note here, the lyrics video says "bleeding trapdoor", but the real lyrics say "blatant trapdoor"

Though I dunno about *true* fan. It took a lot of attempts to listen to them to really start getting into them. Cuz aside from a couple of songs when I first heard them about a year and a half ago, I couldn't stand everything else. xD
They ended up getting me with the lyrics more than the music at first. The more I heard the words, the more I started realizing "Oh, hey! That's me!" After that, I finally started getting into them as a whole, cuz the music started growing on me from there...Trench became a favorite, then Vessel overtook it....And yes..I'm rambling. xD But yeah....I'm really glad I gave them a shot.
(Also, because they got involved with Paul Meany of MuteMath, that helped me want to listen more, becauae MuteMath was anall time favorite band of mine growing up.)

A friend of mine from church introduced me to Twenty One Pilots music last year by playing Car Radio and the Blurryface album for me. I've been a fan ever since but I'm not as familiar with their older songs from this album and Regional At Best as he is, cuz I prefer the variety/musicality of their most recent albums more. I am enjoying the lyrics and messages of these songs too though. I introduced that same friend to NF a couple years ago and he's become a big NF fan ever since too.

I love 21 pilots! They are probably the best new band in years. I have no idea how they keep coming up with so many great songs. I haven't been into a band in a long time that I love every song on every album. I've been like that with bands like The Beatles and The Cure, otherwise there aren't that many. Somehow they don't get a huge amount of airplay on the radio. I'm a bit sad, but a bit glad. I was in a really dark place a few years back and I heard the song Johnny Boy and it was if they were singing directly to me and it brought me back to a good place when I didn't feel like I could. One of the best live shows Ive ever seen. Best light show as well. I hope to meet them one day and thank them personally for inspiring me to get it together and go on. I love the videos and the secret handshake that is in the videos. It's very funny how long it is and intricate. When they did it live I was so happy I was between a half cry and half laugh at the same time. Thank you 21 Pilots for being the best new band in over a decade. I love you guys! Keep on Rocking!

You should check out the band badflower and their song ghost and family. And the band nothing more, and their song Jenny and go to war. Also anything by the band falling in reverse, great messages from all of these talented people with lots for you to talk about.
I'm glad you also saw the parallel to the gallows. This is obviously all metaphor but it is a pretty dark image it summons "watch as this man dissapears as we know" before the jump you have a man, afterwards you have a corpse, the man has dissapeared.

I love all your Twenty one pilots reactions, you should also check out Tyler Josephs stuff from his solo album No Phun intended. He created it back when he was like 16, 17, and he recorded it in his parents basement and did the whole album completely himself all self taught. You should check out the song Goner also, both the album version and the live at Fox theatre version as well it's utterly heartbreaking. You are most definitely welcomed into the Skeleton Clique with open arms. (In case you didn't know the Skeleton Clique is what Twenty one pilots fan base is called)
What's crazy as well is that Tyler Joseph writes the lyrics Composes the music creates the beats plays piano keyboard synthesizer bass drums guitar accordion ukulele and other percussion instruments and produces almost all their stuff himself all self taught. It's inc how talented this man is, he's a Savant if you ask me.

Not going lie definitely didn't care for the reaction. To me it's weird watching someone smiling and bobbing his head to it. But this song meant a lot to me when I was trying to kill myself and I'm sure Tyler didn't make this song for that reason. But for me this song helped me try twice. First time weak attempt 2nd attempt saved by my roommate. But I don't know maybe everyone can get into this song like he can and I'm the weird one. But for me this and 3 other songs gave me the courage to try and end it when I saw no other way out and just wanted to mot think anymore. I'm betterish now but hopefully no hard feelings just a random opinion from someone who watches to much UA-cam lol.
