Abby, I think your failure in this race is how you ran the curve along with your bad start, You don't play catch up in a sprint event, you play catch me if you can... and another thing, that energy that you used to ran Richardson down, if you had used it equally over the entire race you would have more like to win.
If she had used her energy equally over the race it would NOT have guaranteed a win. She would have decelerated faster than she did in this race and hence have a similar or even slower time.
Miss Richardson, you should never ease up in a sprint final, cause even when the win is clear, there could be a record in the making. Don't only run to win, make and break records too, they'll stay out more than a normal victory.

Steiner has it all, and maybe the best Sprinter of them all? Steiner made-up maybe 3-4 yards and that is unheard of in a sprint? Steiner seems to be the strongest, even though Richardson won the race? IMO..
Steiner would be good in the 400....But she has to work on her start the first 100 meters...if she can improve on that...she will be something serious...but Richardson is the better runner and it looks like she started to shut it down for that last 15 meters...race shouldn't have been that close
Steiner had a really great race, lets not go and make her out to be more than she is. C'mon, the difference between Steiner and Richardson in terms of athleticism is still pretty stark. Richardson could go pro and be fine. Call me crazy but I have a hard time seeing Steiner make a dent in the 200m at a Diamond League event but she can always prove me wrong. :)
