Billionaires should not exist in a world where people struggle to heat their homes. Billionaires are asset rich, the property can’t leave the country. Tax it!

The problem isn't being rich. The problem is starving the people who work for you of a living wage. Of rights and representation. Of a fair share of the tax burden. It's using customers data against them and buying politicians so they serve the rich and not the people... Not all billionaires do this. Most do. Not all. Wealth is fine. Greed and abuse of power are a different beast altogether. Year on year they get richer, more powerful and more abusive. Things must change before the system collapses in on itself. Creating chaos and leading to either rebellion or dystopia.
People don't starve because of billionaires. They starve because of mismanagement by governments who enable their friends to become billionaires while destroying the wealth of the tiny insignificants.

It's not as bad as it could be if there was not equality, famine etc in the world. But as it stands, we still have this issue in the world and therefore it isn't morally right they get richer.
Very rich industrialists should pay their staff a living wage. This should be enshined in law, and they should be fined millions (or billions, depending on their wealth) if they don't do it.
I i agree with this I have no issue with billionaire's having money but I agree paying a living wage should be enshrined and deffo fine them for not doing so
Taxing them would just drive their business somewhere else, Taxiation is not the answer and it's just pure jealously of someone who has something that others don't. if that's the motivation behind it then we need to look at ourselves.
@chrisyoungdesign1342 IF WE DONT PAY OUR TAXES AND I MEAN EVERYONE YOU END UP LIKE IN BRAZIL. WERE THEY PAY AS KITTLE TAX AS POSSIBLE,BUT THE ROADS ARE LIKE JUNGLE ROADS , POTHOLES IN UK ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO BRAZIL, THE RICH 1 PERCENT HAVE MORE THAN THE BOTTOM PERCENT BY 90 PERCENT, THE MILLIONAIRES IN 60s PAID 95 PERCENT IN TAX BUT GUESS WHAT !! THEY WERE STILL MULTI MILLIONAIRES , NOW ITS PURE GREED

Countries with less billionaires are in general countries where the average working person is also poorer. There are exceptions such as India and China who have a lot of billionaires but a low average income. Taking money by tax from one person and giving it to another does not increase overall wealth it destroys it. If you want to reduce wealth inequality the only way is to increase overall economic output.
By 2023, the richest 50 families in the UK held more wealth than half of the UK population, comprising 33.5 million people. If the wealth of the super rich continues to grow at the rate it has been, by 2035, the wealth of the richest 200 families will be larger than the whole UK GDP. £466 billion Wealth of the richest 50 families in the UK £466 billion The combined wealth of half of the UK population..... Tax the Rich....

As i earn less than 25k , There are several things that the government could do to make my life better and believe me its NOT taxing the Rich Billionaires more.
You don't just become a billionaire or multimillionaire that success only comes by changing an industry in a big way or changing the world and big money is the reward that comes with that. There has to be a reward for success the alternative is a socialist society which doesn't work.
As long as they’re paying their taxes who cares, we have a problem in Britain with people who are successful. I was born in the slums of Manchester then on council estate, I’m more than happy if someone makes it, good on them.
@jensuttie74 You just can't educate pork. Their blind ignorance is hilarious. That forte woman is happy to tax billionaires out the country while saying we need people to invest in the country.
Mike hasn't the faintest idea.
Billionaires should not exist in a world where people struggle to heat their homes.
Billionaires are asset rich, the property can’t leave the country.
Tax it!
They can evade tax if they wish
Or they just move somewhere else with all the jobs they might provide…

If billionaires were willing to pay more tax, you wouldn't have to, income tax, NI, council tax, road tax - The poorest shouldn't need to pay.
What is it/are they then?
These things, the government can do for you.
@jvincent4854 Exactly those things my friend but he doesn't have to tax Billionaires more to do it.
