Expand the description for some driving tips!
    Sega Rally Revo PC (2007)
There are several classes of cars to choose from in Sega Rally Revo, ranging from the Premier class which is the easiest to drive to the Masters class which is the most difficult to drive. There are two main trends among the classes: cars in harder classes have higher top speeds and are less willing to turn.
Higher top speeds mean faster lap times if you can keep that speed up, but the slower turning can be challenging to cope with especially on tracks with consecutive tight corners where you have to change directions quickly. Braking before a turn to bleed off speed can give you the extra time you need to turn the Masters class cars into those tight corners, but a more convenient trick is to use the handbrake. The handbrake is not very useful for the cars in earlier classes, but its correct use can turn the lazy steering of the Masters class cars into something that is more usable for getting around the track. Hold the handbrake button when starting to enter a corner to kick the back end of the car out faster, but do not hold it too long or else you will start to lose speed.
Driving through snow means there is less grip to work with, so coaxing the Masters class cars around the Arctic courses is a bit of a challenge. If you take a bad line going into one of the corners and are getting ready to hit a wall, try and turn the car so that the back end of the car comes into contact with the wall. When the back of the car hits a wall, the car will simply rebound off the wall instead of losing a lot of speed. On the third lap, I get carried away and enter the first set of sharp corners too fast, but I am able to guide the car through just by bouncing off the walls with the back end of the car. This is often slower than taking the corners cleanly, so only rely on this trick to save a good lap from a mistake!

Can anyone get this game to run 60fps smooth without ever dropping a frame?

use RivaTuner Statistic Server and set framerate limit to 60 and frametime to 16666, disable ingame Vsync and enable on Nvidia Systemcontrol Vsync on Fast

It turns out the speed of the game is tied directly to frame rate, so on faster modern PCs you have to find a way to manually cap the frame rate with an external program to keep things in check; this is the solution! It's the same story for Outrun C2C: limit the frame rate to 60 and it runs much more consistently too.
