- Voice Actor differences between English and Japanese voice pack of Overwatch (Hanzo and Genji). Note: Voice lines are all in Japanese language but the voice actors are different between two versions.
Japanese Hanzo's first voice line sounded pretty good. Has a Toshiro Mifune sound to it. Which is who Hanzo is based on. But his ult. What even is that?
Update: That ult is not a fault but meant to make the ult voice more audible to enemies.
Yoshihisa's Genji ulti voice was perfect honestly,when i heard for first time i just play ow with jpndub
One is set to 1:00 Speed . the other is set to 0.75
Gaku Space should voice Genji in Japanese, cause Gaku is American Japanese tho :V
Bullshit. Gaku is a good English (voice) actor. However, Yoshihisa Kawahara is specifically trained at an institution which trains professional voice actors in Japanese language, and Gaku doesn't have such education / training. TBO, Gaku's intonation in Genji's Japanese ult voices are terrible in synchronization to the game context but just like a stage drama.

@@ShikiSuen Gaku was born in Japan and he already voiced japanese character in game, also acted in street fighters movie in japanese.. He is more japan than american so I don´t really understand your statement.
@@ShikiSuen ik it sounds so, fake. Idk it just sounds like an English person trying to speak japanese. He has decent pronunciation it just sounds off for some reason
@@fizzythoughts9855 if we're not comparing the first line to Yoshihisa's, Gaku's sounded great, it feels like he was trying to be more clear on some words. The Ult's missing a syllable tho.
