4:01-4:11 "What I don't understand though is why Kawasaki owners, at least here in the Phillipines, believe that the louder the bike is, the better..." Don't worry, they think the same in the United States for whatever reason.
There's no way I would upgrade if I had the 400 just for a new buyers in the market there's only like $500 difference to get the 500 vs the 400 why would you not?? I guess it just depends what you're doing with the motorcycle if you don't go on the 🛣️ you don't need the bigger bike, but the extra tq comes in handy tho
for a daily ride. this is the sweet spot segment... for leisure riding definitely get a faster bike... 400cc is plenty fast enough either highway or in the twisties inside roads...
The sound of your ride is 60% of the enjoyment. I don't know why people don't understand this. It seems the parallel twins all sound the same. Thats why I chose a smaller CC 4 cylinder. It doesn't sound like a liter 4 cylinder and definitely not like a parallel twin.
Lol, twins with 270 degree crank almost sounds like a v-twinish and a twin with 360 degree crank sounds like an inline 3 sometimes 4. Tf u mean they all sound the same.
Most all the new twins are 270 degree. The Kawasaki W800 is about the only one left with a 360 degree crank. I owned a 2012 Triumph that had a 360 degree crank before they went to the 270. I thought it sounded a lot better. A lot of the Japanese cruisers started with the 270 to copy the Harley sound. Didn't work very well for them. My 65 Triumph has the 360 crank and when it's running it sounds so sweet.
Problem with small CC 4 cylinders is that they're usually gutless in the low rev range and most bikes in that displacement have horrible ergonomics for daily street riding, just making it a chore to ride outside of a track in general. If you wanna get a 4 cylinder, get a real one with bigger displacement.
@@introx2163 Mine is perfect in town. It has enough to out run any car from a stop light. It can pop a wheelie and just drop a gear and pass anything I want to pass. I don't need a track bike to ride on the street.
Try driving in the expressways with the stock pipes. I've had my fair share of an idiot side swept me because he didn't see or heard me. Note that I was just cruising that time.
@@harold2901tf u mean not the first basis of peenoise? U can basically see everyone with scooters having their first upgrade is an open pipe rather than investing on an appropriate helmet lol.
I don't really care about a LOUD sound. What I care is how fun is it to ride (performance/handling).. I like good sound too but I don't want it to be loud. I don't want attention through sounds. I just want to enjoy the ride myself. I have a zx6r but I don't replace the exhaust.. The sound is audible for myself only and I don't "Bomba" the engine even if people(kids or kids in mind) are asking me too. I don't need validation.. I just wanted a good ride for myself.. and being noticed at a MINIMUM (like a real Ninja LOL).

Any aftermarket parts for these yet? That stock exhaust just is nasty. And kawasaki falling behind when honda has 2025 models out already no? And some saying the z400 and z500 are basically rhe same bike

Just had mine ordered, i am very excited for the bike
Great review, Please Review The Eliminator 450 at some point.
I have had my z400 for three years and love it. I see no reason to replace it with the 500, it really is the same with a few mods. look up the specs.
whats the diff between 400 and 500 bro
You are absolutely right.

great review! exactly what I wanted to see! I think this will be my next bike!
The review I’ve been waiting for
You are better off with a older z400, the new bike is just minor tweaks and if you fall for the marketing hype then I have a bridge to sell to you.
60 hp with a tune, pipe and stack, alot more torque, better display. 451 is a stroked 400. Same cost where i'm at.
But it just a few % more expensive here in Western europe so...
Why do you think older is better? Why would you be better off with the older version? How is the older one better? It's not.
Next review naman po yung hornet 500 ng honda😊

Never happened to me. I always stay with stock pipes. I bought big bikes for enjoyment and not because I am lacking validation.
Facelifted bore up version of Z400 with a steep price hike. no wonder now that china bikes had more newbie buyers.
My bike is Z400 model 2023.verry nice bike.idol.

Or probably ur to dumb to comprehend ?
Drive decently and you don’t need to be heard on the road.
I can finally someone who isn't 6'2'' and closer to my height on the bike I want.
Great review. You speak English like a native: fluent and accurate. Gongrats.
Have ever been to the US?
For me, I have an american accent even I am a Filipino native.. I get it from American TV shows/cartoons :-D.

I sat on a few biks today its this one the rebel 500 and cf moto no hard to decide
why'd you take a couple of months to upload a video? Did you avoid the "heat wave"?
52cc and 1hp and 4.6NM added for price increase of 76,000. LOL
I agree. This is just plain ridiculous!
now try to modify your z400 engine up to those numbers. how much would it cost you??
@@justcornerlurker re-mapping cost around 20-30,000.
The difference is in torque. Not HP. and it matters.

See, I would use this as a daily rider. To replace my smaller cc daily. I have 3 others for different reasons, but my 200NS needs to be replaced.
boss tanong ko lang kung may alam ba kayo na motorcycle custom shop sa manila para sa mga classic motorcycles? thanks

love the Kawi boy slander haha
How about OBR for that bike sir?
7:25 wait...did they lower the displacement requirement to 300cc in the expressways?
Nope, not sure why I said 300cc…. But it’s still 400cc minimum
Present Sir Jinno 🙋
In the US, the best thing about the Z500 is it means now you can get a Z400 with low miles for $4000. 😁 Way better deal!
that green rim is not it
If you're sayiny its slightly more powerful than the z400 thats utter bullshit it's the same bike with just a few minor quality of life changes
Bore and stroke are different to increase hp and torque
Uh.. 6mm extra atroke matters.
Its a nice bigbike for newbie 100%
I think it's convenient too. Easier to "manhandle" and still have access to expressways. Good for a long journey.
Its green, its angry, its kawasaki!
Can i drive this off road?
Can he go 200kph?
Sira yung undercowl
looks diff than z400,z650
Is this ok for 6 footer like me
Tall people are just LUCKY in everything..
Not bad Kawasaki
Not a good deal if you compare it with the price of the z400
Can you find a NEW Z400 to buy? No? Then, the price comparison is irrelevant.
Need a different muffler. the 400 isn't nice either
A shot every time he says "at least here in Filipines" 😅
Resumindo: Não vale a pena para quem tem a Z400... Apesar disso, é uma ótima moto.
Nk450 ftw 😅
He's only 5 ft tall .
Need to earn more💪
Where's the Caco test? 😂
How much top speed?

@rolanddiaz1974 I am just telling you what I've gotten out of mine. I am 6'2" and weigh 210 lbs. My Z500 (not SE) has 700 miles on it.
That is according to the speedometer. I haven't checked it with GPS. I think it may read high.
The styling of this bike is meh.
7:44 my Cafe400 can keep up with Expressway speed, so many slowpokes out there with balls of cotton.
Tme to move to the Philippines from India just to buy this bike
Why no traction control? I will buy another bike..
raider-like swing arm 😂
Id go for 650 than 500
Bajaj 😅
Allergic to USD forks
It's only 50ccs more..
My nigga please showcase the brand of your back bag in future videos.
better than Ducati [wait for the LGBTQ trigger]
I really dont get the the louder the bike the better. its plain harmul and stupid.
4:07 its a 3rd world mentality
ikaw na first world :D
Yeah, zero loud pipe in first world countries, right!
Another trash upgrade 😂
This bike should be called Z450 rather than Z500! And only a few tweaks with a price increase of more than 70K?? This b*llshit kawasaki! 🤬
True. I guess so that they can compete with 500 Hondas (which is around 450cc too)..
