I also had this realization after studying abroad in Italy. It's amazing how quickly certain experiences fade from memory but the people you meet and the stories you hear stick with you. Thanks for making this, it was beautiful!
I studied for a semester abroad in Grenoble, France, and even visited Oslo for a few days on a trip I took to Scandinavia, and he couldn’t be more right. I do remember the places, the things, but I mostly cherish the people. People are what bring the love to our lives. I cried during this video, and it has made me think about all of my wonderful experiences all over again. Thank you.
I love this video!! Beautiful words, so uplifting and great editing ! I plan to move to Norway and I'm so glad I came across your video. Also, 100% agree with how important listening is to build a connection among humans.
I don't often comment on videos but I gotta say this is one of the best short speeches I have ever heard. Thank you so much for sharing you experience and thoughts! Specially the part about taking a break from screens to appreciate what's physically around you is a precious message to modern society.
Beautyful ... You are a true and divine artist :) keep on and never let people who are different from you tell you to stop ... We need people like you. I do :).
you're gonna to study in Norway? I need your help, do you know if there is any bachelor's degree in History? I find some Master's but for Master's I need to have an equivalent of the Bachelor's degree; I dont want to wait 3 more years in France for go study in Norway :(
galatis It looks like University of Oslo only does bachelor degrees in history taught in the Norwegian language. I would check out University of Bergen and some other Norwegian schools though! Also look into your school's exchange programs. In the U.S. and Canada some of our schools let us go study in another country while we still get credit back home. France may very well have something similar! Good luck.
I always wonder how many interesting people I haven't gotten the chance yet to meet them in this life, this always lets me think that it's very important to discover this world and travel to other countries to see what awaits us
Study Abroad is a life changing experience. It is good with all the new technology that helps us to communicate easily. I exchanged postcards with my Japanese Friend and as he sent me his Japanese postcard in exchange, I realize that in the world of fast moving digital experience, physical expression, if anything, is more and more precious than ever.
I'm thinking of doing some of my masters in Norway but I'm so scared of the language barrier (even though I know majority speak English) and just being away from everyone I know in general... it's a big step for someone who is extremely shy but I'm really considering it
Hello 👋 I'm also considering going to Norway to study for a master's degree and I sent an email to the university of Oslo and they told that countries from inside the European, don't pay any fees, just 85€ per semester as a registration. The life though is very expensive, you definitely need to get a job if you can't afford it. Go to the site of the universitet i Oslo and have a little research and maybe send an email to find out more ☺️
Oslo seems like a great city but since its expensive and not so vegan friendly i dont feel like studying there (idc much for vegan processed food tho).
Norwegian schools have a very low fee of around 30-75 usd for entry. here's where i started; www.topuniversities.com/where-to-study/europe/norway/guide
