Cub Cadet RT65 Tune Up

This last season after snapping three drive belts, twice on jobs where I didn't have replacements with me, it was about time to get some heavier machinery. Found this one for a good deal not that far away, only problem was the transmission was filled with oil instead of grease leaking oil on the floor.
The right grease needed only comes in 8oz tubes that are almost $25 a piece, and this tiller would need almost five tubes. Talked to a few repair shops and they said high temp bearing grease would be fine in this application, which made life easier.
This should hopefully lower maintenance costs and open up new opportunities next season. The RT65 is purpose built for ground breaking, with reverse tines for sod ripping, and forward tines for established gardens.
