"Compression and distortion should always go together." Agreed! And also eq and distortion, and also delay and distortion, and also... distortion and distortion! Thanks for the shoutout Eric, and thanks GAS™!
KUSH...BABYYYY!!! R'N'R'!!!
Why should they always go together? And to which amount?
I think this statement is way too sloppy.
@@HardcoreJohnny Did you listen to Eric at all?
I can listen to Eric all day
Eric is one of the best -- love his geeked out perspective and knowledge.
wow. just the way he broke down what he's searching for in the snare sound alone is eye opening.
Dang, I get the impression I might actually get good at mixing if I keep taking notes from Gregory Scott and Eric Valentine.
I hope I do!
It's just putting the time in as well bro. Not saying don't listen, and look up to others, but the number one thing is just doing it, and logging those hours doing it, and training your ears, instincts, and intuition etc.
Beautiful knowledge!!!!

He has GAS from everything but a webcam, so he used a pack of crisps.
Yes, I know they all are: out of being free. Dont confuse yourself for a social subject.
Silka? I guess he means Blyss? :) @TheHouseofKushTV
Nah it's Silika
@@TheRealCowlick you’re right. I had already forgotten about Silika since Blyss was just released and is amazing too with saturation :p
The little TM thing is completely unnecessary.
😅 someone’s trying to trademark gear acquisition syndrome, lol.
