My father passed away and we attended his funeral today. While The End is inevitable, I never thought this day.. I'm remembering and keeping all the good moments we had together and hopefully one day I will pass them to my future family. Until then, I'm walking the memory lane accompanied with one of my most cherished musicians.

We are driving on the freeway on a rainy, muggy afternoon. But it's so dark that it could pass for a chilly, late evening. In your rearview mirror, I can both see you smile and laugh, but I can also see the blurry headlights of all the cars behind us. I think of all the places they are going, what their passion is. I wonder if they hate their job or who they love. To me, they are strangers; I am nothing to them, likewise they to me -but I suppose it's alright to be curious. But I don't dare wish to trade places with them -I'm exactly where I want to be in this particular moment...and it's with you. To be with this amazing, wonderful human being who has shown me the reason I love life at all -who has given me a reason to wake up every damned morning. I look over at you and you're still laughing and I think of how much I love the way you drive my car and how your laugh is my favorite one. And I love you.

I'm obsessed with Hammock as you can probably tell. I comment on most of their videos! It's because I write to their music! It's life-changing!
It's my dream to be a writer! I'm doing all I can to make that dream come true! Likewise, I am a dreamer as well; in fact, Hammock awakens my wanderlust.
