55 minutes "no one is going to wait that long". I didn't think I would be waiting almost 2 years for this gun but here we are! 😀 I'm loving all the hands on content coming in! Thanks Jimi!
Five years later I'm ready to join you and buy my first Archon. I know there's a Gen 2 but this is what I want. Considering ordering it with one of the two trigger upgrades done by Rain6.
You’re totally right about the price. So many upgrades and tech. The price is quite reasonable. I’ve been watching and waiting for this pistol for some time now.
Well worth the 35min actually one of the best informative gun video's on the Archon type be. The alien for laugo arms is similar in some ways to the type b. Can wait for the Rex Arms Delta is released and you do a review of.
Hey, brother, do you know if Archon has any plans to redesign the magazine base plates? I've seen some comments and complaints about the gap between the magazine base plates and the magazine well, not only being aesthetically bothersome, but pinching some shooters.
Dumb question, but what TTI mag extension is that? Is it just the mag ext that will fit a Glock 19? Because I don't remember TTI selling a mag ext specifically for the Archon Type B. Thanks!
Can somebody confirm if and what the internal differences between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 are assuming there are any? I want the Gen 1 lower but feeling fomo if i don't just buy the new Gen 2. Help me please haha someone
James, when your running it on the range, see if it'll eject a live round... I had a dickens of a job with my strike one speed... Using 135g IPSC rounds. Peace out
So when is archon going to fill the pre-orders for rain 6? Is it going to take another 3 years or are they just going to keep on lying on supposed deadlines that they never meet
There are 3 guns out of 1000's that we know of. K have been shooting pistols for decades, you know how many of them have had recalls? Look at the "M17" the army chose. Sig is calling it "The Chosen One" in ads. Are you not aware of the massive recall on those? So many pistols get ALL their guns recalled. This is a few faulty springs.
The issue has been isolated, the fix is simple. Some guns more than a few went out with this issue and of course a couple of those few made it to big youtubers. This too shall pass ~Gandolff
I have mine on order but I’m a little disappointed that the trigger pull is almost 6 pounds. I have bad arthritis in my hands and I was hoping this trigger since everyone says it’s a fantastic was going to be under 5 pounds. Why would If not have a trigger similar in weight to the PPQ? This is the first time I’ve heard anybody mention what the trigger pool was. Hopefully if it hurts my hands too much to shoot it I’ll be able to resell it.
James, do ya'll have those mag extensions? I have a Arsenal Strike One. . . I could use some of those. . . Also do you have any fixes for the catchy mag issue you mentioned in the video on the strike one?
James Story James this is James. Thanks for your reply regarding the trigger pull weight. You said you just dropped in the spring and now yours is around 4 pounds that sounds fantastic where do I get that spring and has it caused any light primer strikes because it’s obviously not striking the primer is hard with the lighter striker spring?
I am a serious, prospective buyer. Would you please address two issues harped on by the Military Arms Channel? The first, I'm not too concerned with; and that is the metal trigger becoming hot enough to cause second degree burns, after shooting less than 300 rounds. The other does cause me some concern: The magazine release falling out and disabling the gun; when a magazine is inserted backwards. I like that Archon was thinking outside the box; but that feature could be a life or death problem for someone. As you know, when it comes to guns; all it takes is one wrongful death lawsuit to bury a company. Note: I began asking about the mag release before you addressed it in this video, but I must be honest with you. What you said will not be satisfactory to most people. I'm a huge fan of the gun, and I have never inserted a magazine backwards; but the goal is to reach those that are not in the choir. Great presentation; and I'm looking forward to the shooting video, and finding out the truth about the piping hot (or not) metal trigger.
watch our shooting video, putting the mag in backward will not drop the release if your hand is on the gun in fire control, if you're in an admin grip to disassemble then yes.
I already have a fix for it... simple spring replacement, the batch of springs must have been ill approved, my guess but will have the definitive answer tomorrow after 1200 rds. with old and new striker spring.

Do you have the type B now? When will they start shipping?
Weird question: what does your bracelet say?
Thanks for the video Jimi! Looking forward to the next shipment. - K. Heaton
Thank you Ken!!!

I'm redoing them, they'll be sick give me 5-8weeks or New Year!

They were made for the Arsenal Strike One that this gun is patterned off of.
Yes, but does Taran Tactical still sell a mag extension for the Type B? I don't see it on their website for purchase. Maybe it was special order?
I'm late, but CZ extensions work. CZ mags work too, if you don't mind the excess mag sticking out.
I need a holster and some mag extensions. Who do I need to talk to
They are on Rain6.com thank you, or call 801-277-4867
Will the shipment arriving in a week cover the rest of the late 2016 pre-orders??
I think so, very close... ;)
The shipment we're getting in next month, few weeks, will cover you for sure. ty
I truly appreciate the updated reply, your Da Man! 👊🏻

They fly out like little bats outa hell! Good question, I’ve had that issue with AF1.
Lock the slide back before you check the mag ejection
How long before you think we'd see these in our lgs?
hopefully by Christmas, we hear they are about to start shipping large #'s soon.
So when is archon going to fill the pre-orders for rain 6? Is it going to take another 3 years or are they just going to keep on lying on supposed deadlines that they never meet
guns in customs now, should get them out to customs in the next two weeks. The light primer issue was a pain and delay.
What's up with all the failure to fire?
Getting worked out by Archron

@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 so just the big UA-cam channels got the garbage guns
Unknown, but I’ve heard of four so a couple more than them at this point. I’d say 5% If I had to guess. The solution and big reviews coming soon.
Is there any safety on the firearm? Such as a trigger blade like Glocks or a CZ P-10C? Great video on a very nice firearm!!
Yes, there are two internal safeties, striker bar and trigger safety bar.

will not affect the striker spring at all, we'll have those springs for sale on the site.

Another point - how often have you put your magazine into the mag well backwards?
@@toddfeltman3748 never, but that's me. I don't think this has ever come up in training also...
