The last kind of set like this I bought was 'It came grom outer space' which I thought was a nice set. Recently Ive just gone with the steel books having looked at the contents, since they have mainly just been art cards as you pointed out. The same with Galaxy Quest. Happy with just the steelbook. I think moving forward. I’m going to go the same way. Unless a special film Comes out I’m drawn too. But I do want to leave these standard SE sets behind now for the most part. Think I would rather buy a mantalab or Nova media set every so often instead. At least they feel more premium than these
Heard the transfer is excellent. Was a common problem with that Blazzing Saddles set, needs something a bit different than more artcards. Great unboxing mate
I'm hoping mine comes tomorrow but I agree these sets are becoming the same it would've been good if we got the documentary a patch would've been good as well but do like the steel book but it's a great film a classic can't believe it's 25 years next year 😅
What a brilliant movie this is, I’m surprised you went for yet another big all bells and whistles edition after being burnt a few times now 🧐 the rigid case is nice with the front and rear image 👌 the Steelbook is also nice 🙌 all going well so far……. Stickers 👎vessel registration number 👎 artcards are good quality 👍 yet more cards 🥱 they need to come up with a new item to put in these sets. The quality of everything is of high standard but is it really needed? Would have preferred a rigid case with a Steelbook and no extras over this? Thanks for showing AJ, take care mate👍😃👍
I said to myself this would be one of the last ones and I would be far more picky come the new year ( very little for me now for the rest of December bar a few standard releases.) I have been somewhat disappointed by a fair few releases akin to this of late. And this one ( although nicer ) offers much the same. I think these are getting lazy now. I think I’d rather pick up less like this and on occasion maybe pick up a nice manta lab release or the like. More expensive. But they feel more premium. Also come Jan. after Xmas I want to divert some of the disposable income into other projects of mine outside of physical media and that. That’s my aim. Whether it comes to pass as I have it in my head is yet to be seen ☝️😂
