I have been listening to so many of Angelinas songs since I first heard her. She is truly amazing and special. So talented.
She is that rarity among singers...she is an interpreter. Angelina can take a song, find the hidden emotion in the lyric and music, and wring your heart out like a dishcloth! As I've remarked before, if each goosebump she raised with her voice was a dollar, she'd be a billionaire.

She is already a living superstar of the world. While unknown yet to many, she's like an extraordinarily beautiful flower bud slowly spreading its petals for everyone to see and appreciate in awe but in God's perfect time, not any mortal. To us her 'angels', we already know that so much so that we're always excited to listen to her music over and over, day in and day out...
You asked for more info on her so, and I haven't posted my Bio on her in a while, so here you go.....
*Angelina Jordan*
- Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14
- She began singing at the age of one and a half
- At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos.
- Angelina always sings barefoot..... When Angelina was 6, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. The girl complimented her on her pretty shoes, so Angelina took them off and gave them to the girl. She made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. (that's a shortened version. the full story is more touching than the way I have told it here).
- She has always been the driving force behind her own singing career. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the show at just 8 years old.
- In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the prize money, the 8 year old replied, "I would like to help to orphans that need clothes and shoes"
- When Angelina was 9 years old she became the youngest published author in Norway, when she wrote a book about the story of why she doesn't wear shoes when she sings. She donated proceeds from the sales of the book to help children in need.
- The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. They allow her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. Her mother said in an interview that they have turned down 90% of the offers that come in. I have heard they have turned down offers from many major record labels and even disney.
- Angelina has covered more than 100 songs over the last 6 years. She always selects the songs herself... everything ranging from old classic jazz to modern pop. She is able to change her voice to match any song she sings and make it her own. (she can cover Amy Winehouse and Lana del Rey like nobody else)
- Angelina has collaborated with some very big names over the last few years... Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, David Foster, and many more. All of which heard her covering their songs and were blown away by her talent.
- Angelina has written three of her own original songs: "What is Life", "Shield" and "Oslo", as well as 2 songs that were written just for her voice "A Song for A" and "Above the Water" (all are amazing...all can be found on youtube)
In summary, Angelina Jordan is destined to be one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. This is just my opinion, but if you listen closely to any of her stuff you will hear the greatness. She sings with a natural style. There is no acting, no showing off, there are no unnecessary runs, or big belty notes just for the purpose of saying "hey look at me sing". She once said "when I sing I go into a magical world in my head", and you can always hear the results of that. When Angelina sings it is pure soul, pure emotion, pure music.

Amy Winehouse just dreams she could ever sing like our barefoot angel. Angelina is what every aspiring singer should try to emulate. They won't be able to get anywhere close. Angelina is the best.
We are initially drawn in by her beautiful voice and, quite honestly, that would be enough, but invariably we fall in love with her as a person. There are a lot of really good singers out there today, but very few that can instantly pull your heart strings just by showing up. She exudes compassion in her very presence, and then we are lost in her very emotive voice, as she sings. This lady, this very grown up teenager, is very, very special.

Your look of unbelief with the tears in your eyes, is the same response every time I hear and watch her sing. We are not alone. That is the same look I think everyone has. It is, 'how is this possible, and how beautiful this is', at the same time. Plus she arranges all of her own music. She doesn't always de-construct a song like this, but they have a limited amount of time to sing, so she wrote this to show what she does with a song. Oh, and as far as that crying thing, I still cry when I hear her sing. It does not matter if it is the first time hearing it, or the fiftieth time. She sings, I cry! Angelina ist am 10. Januar 14 Jahre alt geworden. An ihr ist so ziemlich alles außergewöhnlich bis hin zur Körpergröße (ca.185 cm).. Ein musikalisches Wunderkind, welches sich stetig weiterentwickelt hat und alles dafür mitbringt mal eine extrem erfolgreiche Sängerin zu werden .
Die Kollegen haben in ihren Kommentaren ja u.A. schon auf ihr sehr umfangreiches Repertoire mit verschiedenen Links hingewiesen.

Hi, Claudia! Entschuldigung, aber ich habe fast alle meine deutsche vergessen. So, better in English then. Angelina is an exceptional child prodigy. Her grandmother played jazz music for her basically from birth. She has attended the Oslo Waldorf school from a very early age..you are probably aware of Waldorf and know they will accept babies that are just months old, and emphasize music from an early age. She makes a lot of her own clothing. She hand-sewed the suit she wore in this video from material they had printed using images from paintings by her grandmother. She has always done her own musical arrangements. She began this AGT performance acapella, with no key from the musicians. She did this as well at the initial audition for NGT in 2014, singing Billy Holiday's version of "I'm a Fool to Want You", completely acapella after hours of waiting, etc, with no key provided..which is all to say that she has perfect pitch, and nerves of steel.
