No hate or anything, but why does everyone focus on what an idol looks like rather then focusing on their talent?
because that’s what the agency sell. they sell aesthetics with a side of music, why do you think there’s soo many endeavors in the fashion industry for idols? so many diets and procedures? most biased members are usually the visuals or visual line? aespa is very talented because at least they have the singing and okay rap down but each and every group is selling aesthetic
If you’re looking for talent, kpop isn’t the place sweetheart. What and whose talent create kpop? Their producers, their songwriters, their dance choreographers is the one with talent. The creator and the real owner of their ‘art’. Because very little of kpop idol create their own art, write their own songs, produce their own music, choreograph their own dance, concept their own image and album. All of what you see is created by other people behind the scene. So what talent😂😂😂😂

I've been reintroduced to Kpop for 2 years now. It's people like the ones I've seen here that make me cringe at myself and ask me why I even bothered
People talk too much about how she looks. I get it why people discuss her looks; I'm a straight guy and I think she's quite possibly the finest woman alive, so I'm not gonna pretend that her looks aren't _part_ of why she's among my favorites. But I wouldn't be a fan _at all_ if it wasn't for her talent as a performer.
People should talk about the fact that she's good at singing, dancing, and rapping, and she has great stage presence. Even though she's not number one in any of those categories, the fact that she is proficient in all of them is pretty damn impressive. Though the one thing she probably is among the best at is just getting the track going. Like, seriously, listen to "Step Back," "Girls," "Drama," etc.. She knows how to set it off. _Especially_ "Drama."
As far as her changing looks go, it's probably a mix of a bit of plastic surgery, changes in makeup, weight gain and loss, and aging.
