For me it will always be 21:9 .. I tried going back to 16:9 but sold the monitor in less than a month.

I select 3440x1440 in the NFSHP display settings, but it will not play at 21:9. I have 2 black bars on either side of my screen, as you did at the start of this video :( I have the original 2010 version.
