    Just saying, it worked so well! Had 6 little oil marks on a sweatshirt, some older and some new. Tried on all of them as he instructed and gone! Even after having washed and tumble dried it before, it still worked. I'd say worth a shot if you've got a stain.

    just remember: this won't work if you've already washed your clothes with the oil stain on it. this causes the oil to set into the fibers with your clothes and it will stay there forever unfortunately. if you haven't washed your clothes yet though, this is an amazing trick

      It can still get it out even if it has been washed. I use dish soap alone and rub it in with my fingers. I let it sit for a few hours and then soak it in warm water with a bit of detergent before washing in the machine. If you tumble dry or iron the stain then it'll be far more difficult.

Some say bicarbon vinegar but I don't know if that will put a bleach thing so check it on the inside of the hem first and then check it on your uniform if it doesn't damage the hem inside the pants or the dress

    As soon as I saw this video, I immediately went and tried it and there was a strong stain of orange colored crayon on my white shirt which had been there for two weeks and it was not coming off, so I tried it after watching this video and I had There was no such thing at home, so I added dishwashing liquid and lemon juice and rubbed it continuously with a toothbrush for about 1 minute and the stain was removed thoroughly... thankyou so much

    I just use dish soap let it soak and wash it and it comes out fine. Also shout gets out a lot of stains. I used to be a spotter at a dry cleaners and shout was one of the main things we used to get things out.

      Also, baking soda and lemon juice are both acidic. They create cool bubbles when mixed, but just baking soda on its own would be more effective.

      ​@@plaintoast5477 baking soda has a pH level of 8.5. it's basic and if we use it directly on the clothes,it may fade the original colour of the dress. As lemon juice is acidic,when mixed,both will do their work. Base to remove stain and acid to neutralize the excess base. Hope it makes you a bit more knowledgeable.😊

    I don't know if this works but another hack that helps remove oil stains is you just put any kind of face powder or flour on the oil stain IMMEDIATELY after the oil is split and keep it there for a few mins and it will be gone .

      Have you tried oxygenated bleach? Mix it into a paste with some water and apply directly to the stain. Let it sit for maybe 5 minutes (it will discolour the clothes if left on for too long) and then wash as usual in a washing machine. Works on deodorant stains as well.

    Okay but let me see how you tackle sweat marks!! My sons socks are minging after football and the T-shirts seem to discolour at the pit area - wayyyy too quick! And without any remedy, from the “vanish” and other toxic chemicals to the “lemon and bicarbonate and leave in the sun” nope! To no avail!!

    be careful if the clothes are brand new it can be combined with the finish or any other chemical that the clothes have and stain them, also be careful with the detergent or soap you use to wash the clothes, The same could happen to stain clothes.

      Dish soap will also work because it will dissolve the fatty component in the lipstick. The colour may have stained, though.
