Lexi, been waiting for a review & swatches on the Armani liquid blushes & Surratt highlighters. I’m happy to see they get a thumbs up from you. They both look very nice on the cheek. I really like the Armani blushes too. Now I also want to try the Surratt highlighter in the opalescent shade too. It’s so pretty. I also just saw that the Dior site has the new backstage palette in number 3 warm essentials and Westman atelier has 2 new shades in the baby cheeks blush. So much new stuff is coming out at once.

I don't smell the scent all day, just at application and maybe a couple minutes after as it sets. I'm working on a bunch of BB stuff now!

Surrat highlighters are beautiful , not sure if i need. Have so many. I am not so much into liquid blushes also. And especially right now, i already in bronzed skin. SF is hot already🤪 so coral blush. I was revisiting Dior poppy coral. I might need it , but isnt similar to Surratt Ponceau? Are they similar and which one is warmer? Hi Lexi -I was really excited when I saw you'd reviewed the new Surratt highlighters! I was tempted by the Frou Frou shade but it does have quite a white tone to it, albeit with the lilac hue and I think the Pink Diamante may be my favourite - does the Pink Diamante have glitter? I have the Diamante shade and have to say I do much prefer highlighter sticks to the liquid formulas - I find them easier to use and control. I seem to remember you reviewing another cool pink highlighter stick but cannot quite recall the brand? I have a feeling though that it isn't available in the UK. Always love seeing reviews of Surratt and this was no exception 😊
The pink diamante is the same finish as the diamante shade so it's shimmery but no actual flecks of glitter. I think the other pink highlighter stick was Addiction Tokyo which isn't available in the UK.
@@LexiJong Ah yes - Addiction Tokyo - thank you! Such a shame it isn't available in the UK. Love the Surratt Diamante, but as you say, it is shimmery and I'd love a shade like the Pink Diamante but with a sheen rather than shimmer - especially for daytime. The UK search continues!

@@LexiJong Thank you Lexi, I had a look at that but it seems neutral, leaning warm and with a slight peachiness to it? Is the chanel Highlight Fluid the same sort of cooler pink as the Surratt Diamante pink? I also just saw the Armani Fluid Sheer Highlighter in shade 7 - is that cooler too? So difficult bc in the UK we can't send make up back if it has been swatched - which makes it an expensive mistake if you pick something that isn't tonally right!
I'm curious about the Fluency lipstick moisturizing level compares to Chantecaille's lip product. Thanks for the answer.
It's nothing really like the Chantecaille lipsticks although we will have to see with their new lip sheers. The Fluency is thinner than lip chics and more on par with the lip veil but the lip veil has more slip. These are more of a matte texture coupled with a touch of lip balm. They are more moisturizing than the Violette_FR balms but feel more similarly to those.

I was hoping you'd do the Armani. I found I really like the Suqqu liquid blush that came in the Rikka kit, but have been looking for a mauve shade. Do you like Armani or Valentino better? Or something else?
I really like both of them but I think I like the fact that the Valentino are also officially approved for use on the lips as well so that would be my choice between the two but honestly, both formulas are great so maybe see which one you can get for a better deal.

This was really good, I ended up picking up Armani's cheek tints in the shades 53 bold pink and 65 intense berry! I have a request Lexi, my favourite foundation brush was the Face III by Marc Jacobs, it has been discontinued and my old one is falling apart. Would you happen to know a brush that is similar to it? the Face III is a dense, buffing foundation brush. I have a lot of pores on my face and it's the only brush that helps achieve a somewhat, smooth and even foundation coverage. I use it with liquids and creams. If not, are there any other good buffing brushes you would recommend for me? I have normal, leaning dry skin.
The shape is a little different (more rounded) but the Koh Gen Do Buff brush is very similar in density and texture I think. It's on sale at KGD right now (not affiliated): go.shopmy.us/p-5162787. Another option would be the BK Beauty 101. For a natural hair option, you might like the Koyudo FUPA 02 which is back for a revival from Fude Beauty go.shopmy.us/p-5071215.
