jkzu123 although not really active anymore, hes working behind the scenes to pump out much higher quality videos than before. Most of his old videos were mostly score posts and he didnt like that and decided to clean up his channel, now hes doing high-quality videos with original ideas which I like alot more. Definitely a lot of respect towards him
@@kosuuqwk well it was said in the video, im the guy at 13 mins ish but i'll give a more detailed version In the UK we have this summer camp thing called NCS (has since been cancelled due to the government dropping funding) which was advertised as something you can put on your CV for the future, so I decided to go and do it solely for that. When I got there with my school mates we got put into a tent of 8 (max was about 6) and I was in the same tent as CogMH. I believe on the 2nd day as we were having breakfast, I went into the hall a bit late and noticed our tent around Cog as he was playing Malody, and I instantly recognised it and went "yo bro that's malody right?" From then on we just discussed primarily about osu!mania and shit realising that we have somehow actually met an o!m player in real life. On the 4th day I believe he mentioned that he knew jkzu personally and was like "I've gotta tell him that I met you, wanna talk to him?", to which then we called jkzu and had a great conversation about gym, osu!mania, and religion. After NCS we made plans to add eachother on discord and make a group chat with jkzu, which did happen. There's your detailed story 😁

I believe the jakads thing had to do with how he changed his stance on copyright after opinions of him in Naver got increasingly sour in recent years, which was the reason he had not played osu for a long while. In South Korea and Japan, there’s no such thing as fair use, so him streaming or making videos around osu was seen as infringing copyright there. Essentially, it’s not worth the legal trouble to him. The other factor, is the amount of charts for a_hisa songs that were already in osu (except the approved ones) before the situation started was a copyright infringement time bomb waiting to happen, a_hisa had warned about this in their channel description since 2014. It was the actions of the folks that sent revolting shit to a_hisa that lead to jakads leaving the community.
Sorry jakkads but not everyone has tens of thousands of dollars to spend grinding an arcade game theres a reason why arcade youtubers are so popular or at least used to be they do what most people cant and play an arcade game as long as they want
I genuinely sad see Jakads handle the situtation but can't blame him because it's always mania bring the most trouble in osu! rather than other game mode itself due to mania player generaly comes of from other mania like rythm games and different cultures between those game. I can clearly see his obvious intention using a_hisa drama as advantage and excuse to quit the game. the painfull part with this he had serveral better choicex like to just not play the osu! mania anymore and move on other game mode instead since player in other game mode could careless with drama and just play the game plus he is already good at it thanks to his stamina and accuracy consistency on hardest chart Mania mapper can offer (other game mode generaly only have mapper infighting but that is for another topic) or in other way rather than deleted his accound he just said just quit the game and keep his account there as it is plus who cares what they shit talk you about they can keep malding while see your score on no.1 leaderboard rent free in their head. From all the way top korea player way of handle with quit the game Jhlee0133 are on of them handle it well, just stop play the game anymore there is apparently a "drama" but that mostly just a player dispute with other can't avoid it when it comes to tournament afterall, no post about reason to quit the game and move on with life it's just a rythm game not your entire personality.
I can't help feeling betrayed by Jakads. Things related to a_hisa were just excuses to leave mania community... Jakads always wanted to actively participate in the arcade rhythm game communities (especially twitter) for a long time, and he just left immediately when the superficial reason for leaving has occurred. But he doesn't had to publicly despise osu community like that when he's leaving. I know it's because osu community attacked his precious "japanese" "arcade rhythm game" song composer, but it just feels weird him saying all relevant statement(including leaving osu community) in japanese while he is literally korean. all that statement just to get along with japanese weeb twitter users? just nonsense.
