Nanci is extraordinary....and this pleasantly "raw", essential, harsh sound of the instruments combines with perfect alchemy with the wild and sweet voice of Nanci...there is a magic in the mix between singing and music...
I don't know where she did this, but she sang this when she was on her Flyer tour at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and did it faster. She played a fender strat and kind of blended her words into one long word during the chorus. I wish I could find her doing it with that arrangement. She was amazing.

i wonder where this was recorded too, she did that dustbowl symphony over there at abbey road and i wonder if she tried a beatles cover just for the heck of it
a fender strat , no less, well, if you find out more info let me know , I wonder just how good she has kept track of her work. Carol Kaye was meticulous. She has every paystub, every contract, dates, times, the whole thing. Now a lot of her work was tracking dates and not vocal dates - the vocals were added later.
The sweetest version of this Beatles tune.

on the flyer tour she's playing a strat? a blue strat can (anybody) remember?
I saw her in Royal Albert Hall in May 12. 1997, and she finished with this, on a Strat. I remember it as white, but might as well be light blue.
Where can I get it!?
Try Mary McCaslin
jackie de shannon's cover is better.
