- Today we travel on Indonesia's BRAND NEW bullet train, Whoosh! We take the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung and we pay for first-class seats where the level of service on Whoosh is insane! Indonesia should be really proud of this new Whoosh bullet train. It takes us about 40 minutes to land in Bandung from Jakarta, super quick! First Class Bullet Train tickets are Rp600,000 each. It's our first ever time on a bullet train and we're so excited to be able to travel on this brand new bullet train here in Jakarta.
Indonesia launched this "Whoosh" bullet train in Jakarta & Bandung in October 2023 the it's the second fastest train in the world with speeds of up to 350kph, only outperformed by a Chinese train.

Indonesia don't know how to build a HSR...China should not have to build HSR at a damn stupid cheapest price like giving a free HSR project with crazy lowest loan interest at hardest n very difficult to build HSR due geographically landmass. Japan just give up the HSR project. But, adding insults to China generous deal of HSR, the Indonesian government trying to do alike Indian government tricks of not paying the project 's loans of fabricating the HSR are not meeting the contract agreement. The whole project completed ahead of schedule and passed all tests at high quality standard of work. This project of Indonesia HSR should be a lesson for China/Chinese government be very careful of getting HSR projects around the world. China should discriminately treated all infrastructure projects from countries that are traditionally anti-China like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India Singapore and 5-eyes nations, EU and most of Latin America and u

you must go transit on padalarang station if you want to go bandung city, on padalarang station you take feeder train to bandung station, no ticket charge it's free.

Fun fact: Bandung formed from the explosion of ancient Mount Merapi and ancient Mount Tangkuban Perahu (if I'm not mistaken) which makes Bandung surrounded by mountains. This is also the reason why the city of Bandung rarely experiences flooding.
The whoosh train will continue to Surabaya (East Java) and construction of the rail network will soon be carried out.

Fyi, you miss the lounge that you can access if you have business or first class tickets (although is not big deal to miss it because, other than you can get hot coffee or tea at the VIP lounge, it pretty much the same snack that they will gift to you when on the train) also if you want to go to bandung city centre, because currently the KCIC still planning to build in fill station between padalarang station and tegalluar station, you may want to get off at padalarang station because they are feeder train that will take you to Bandung Station (pretty much located in the bandung city centre) for free because it is included in your high speed tickets, although you can also take Damri Feeder Bus from tegalluar station to bandung city centre. Anyway enjoy your stay in bandung😊

Both padalarang and tegalluar located west and east of bandung outskirts respectively. It depends where you plan to go in bandung. The feeder train padalarang-bandung has only 300 seats. Some people may not get seat. Only 20 minutes ride to central bandung station.

If you want to go to Bandung centre ( down town ), you must stop in Padalarang sts, not in Sts Tegal Luar, because this station quiet far away to down town, ( about 20-25 km ), so you must stop in Padalarang station from there use feeder train ( include price the ticket ) with green color feder train to centre of Bandung

if i'm not mistaken, there's vip lounge in the station for vip and first class ticket holder, so if you're too early you can wait in the station lounge for the departure, and there's free foods and drinks there

Yes sir... Tegal Luar are Far East Of Bandung. Unless you want to Cibiru, Cileunyi, Cicalengka, Majalaya, Gedebage or Nagreg you shouldn't get off at Tegal Luar
