I both love and hate such palettes. I love because the idea of having every powder product for every day makeup in one palette is great. Especially for people who travel. On the other hand I hate this because among all palettes I haven't found even one that doesn't have at least one product that doesn't fit my skin tone. I'm waiting for a quality brand that will introduce cute magnetic palettes (like Natasha Denona's ones, but with different sizes for products) and single shadows, bronzers, blushes, highlighters and powders that you can mix to create your perfect compact combo that will fit in this one palette.
Charlotte has been advertising for the Muslim holiday Eid. You would think with the number of us Muslims with medium and darker skin tones, we would get face palettes!

I appreciate you calling out the lack of inclusivity. Im so disappointed that some of the influencers I follow don't even mention it when they're raving about the products. We HAVE to hold brands accountable and tell them to do better
It seems to me that all the 'instant look in a palette' palettes always appear to follow the same colour theme with pink tones to the eyeshadows and blushers. Different shades would be nice. I agree that there should definitely be one or two more for deeper skin tones.

Mine was patchy and I never use it. Did I just get a dud, or, are the shadows different than her regular shadow palettes? Thanks!

My skin tone is light to medium, and in the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette, the bronzer shade is too light on me, so I would probably need the deeper palette. I own Charlotte’s Gorgeous Glowing Beauty palette, and wonder how that would compare with the two new palettes. It’s not currently available on her website, and I know the eyeshadow colors are different, but I’m curious as to how the bronzers, highlighters and blushes compare. Actually, I wouldn’t mind seeing how the eyeshadows compare as well. That’s the only face palette by Charlotte I currently own.
Love the concept , I have an hourglass palette with setting powder and I've been loving it. the medium one looks pretty they swatched a little darker. only CT product I have is a lipstick
stunning eye looks from both of these palettes! As the world is starting to reopen, i think these are gonna be a must have handbag item. I have most of her look in the palettes and find them the best value for money. So sorry to say Patty, I will no longer purchase CT. I purchased both of these pallets, but one was received broken in one of the colors. While I agree we should always use the makeup we receive, I was a bit taken back that CT Customer Service advised that while they were sorry, they did not find the pallet to be broken enough to warrant a return or exchange. Are you freaking kidding me?! At $75 per face pallet, maybe I am the only one that feels I should receive an unbroken pallet. Diversity is important but they don't even care about customer service on any level. Such a shame. 😔
Your videos are so informative! I’m not buying these products. I’m very picky and keep my collection to a minimum. I want to use what I have first, which would probably take a long time. But I like what I have. All that said, I still love your videos. You’re so thorough and I love to see what products are made of. That way, in case I do want to purchase something, I have an idea of the products in the market. Thank you!

I think she should have gave bigger pans for the eyes and blush. Also included a small lip stick. I do agree there should be 3 pallets. Light medium and dark. Beauty for everyone.
I ordered the lighter palette and my sparkle shade arrived shattered too 😭 it made a mess everywhere. This was my first time ordering from her website. The color stories are beautiful though. They definitely need 2 more palettes. xx

As soon as you mentioned free magic cream I went to Canadian CT website and they say I need to spend C$225 which is around $183 American :( I hate when brands do that..

the darker palette gave you a beautiful summer bronze look 😍😍😍 the highlighter in the light palette was so glowy liked them both on you that shimmer on the light palette 🤩
The reason I don't like face palette setups like that one is what you ran into-- need to use small brushes or be super precise where my regular brush touches the product. Otherwise I accidentally end up with bronzer as a blush or contour mixed in with a highlighter. I think there should be at least two darker palettes, not just one. CT is like many luxury cosmetics companies in that they ignore a wide swatch of the market. Considering how inexpensive powder products are to produce, there's really no reason for a launch to not be fully inclusive. That's one of the reasons Juvias Place is doing so well-- they appeal to a full demographic instead of just light skinned folks. (That medium palette is basically just another version of light.)

Same here- I'm as tan as Casper but my undertone is so strong that I need to wear deep shades. I'm not sure CT realizes that there are light-skinned folks who need deep shades. CT is losing more than BIPOC customers. To get CT to be more inclusive of folks with deeper skin tones, we shouldn't have to point out that they're also losing light-skinned customers like us.

I think we’ve reached a point where this can’t be tolerated. I can’t support buying palettes that don’t include a range that cover a broader shade spectrum. Very tone deaf to say the least. We as consumers should demand more to expect more.
What shade Foundcealer do you wear. It’s the only foundation I think we have in common, just so I can judge what mine is in comparison. I’m 34N in Foundcealer which is and in between winter and summer shade which I can get to work in both seasons. I can go way darker than that in summer or fake tanned and quite a bit lighter in winter this past year due to no holidays last year. I actually feel like some of the medium products would be light and some dark on me weirdly. The highlighter I’m not worried about, I actually use the gold from Smashbox 2018 holiday collection face palette a lot, in fact I wore it today (new photo on Instagram but not changed on UA-cam yet. I’ve just got my hair blonde again for first time in over a year and it’s way lighter than it was, it will be platinum in 3 months (couldn’t go platinum from natural in one go). X

I'm tanned, if it doesn't suit me I move on. I really like Charlotte Tillbury, but I also like others too. Makeup Geek caters to all colors for years...She's underrated. I also like Tarte and Urban Decay. I don't use highlighters or contours, so I get to focus on eyeshadow and all things lips.

I really love the look of the light palette but CT should have bought out a dark palette as well, i do want the BK beauty brushes but shipping to the UK is like $26 and then i would have to pay customs taxes, it there any foundation brushes that you think are like the 101 brush that i could try

With some products Charlotte forgets that we are not all English roses! If you notice, she doesn’t have a good variety of lipstick shades. Where are the pinks? It just seems like there are a lot of natural shades and then a few like Amazing Amal or Very Vergara but nothing in the middle! I feel like I am between these two palettes, too medium for Blushed beauty but too light for Glowing beauty.
That face powder makes no sense! I have fair skin and it will be way too dark for me. Why is it not translucent? I won't be buying because if every item in a palette doesn't work for me then it's not worth it. That lipstick is beautiful though!😍
Yea I'm not buying that.. it looks like it will work on my skin tone but I just got her 12 pan pink palette (don't remember name right now) so I'm good. If there was a darker one I probably would be thinking of getting it
None of the shades in either palette look different from all the other pinky stuff CT has churned out in the past. It's boring! Very, very boring 😴😴 Charlotte found a winner with the pinks/golds/shimmers, but that was years ago. She hasn't budged at all and she's becoming stale. It's lazy. Don't get me wrong, you created gorgeous looks but they're "looks" you have done before, whilst reviewing a CT palette. Shant be getting these. 🌟💜🌟💜🌟
Totally agree Chrissy - how did these palettes make it to production; they are extremely boring. Doesn’t Charlotte know we already have all of these colors! Is she getting lazy because we are so eager to buy every palette she puts out and therefore she doesn’t put too much thought into it???? It’s a HUGE pass for me!
@@claudiacanales2662 I didn't get that one (it sold out) but I've heard really great things about it. I believe it had new formulas in it. This palette just seems a little bit of a cash grab. Zero thought it effort has been put into it and the price is bonkers (considering it's pitiful offering).
The question is why do you need to make shade comments EVERY TIME when you do not understand the financial side of makeup, they know who buys what and how often, they have market analysts and their is something for EVERYONE their are even brands that ONLY cater to darker skin, so JUST review and move on! I have med tan skin and MOST of Tilbury's products don't show up on me, so I buy from somewhere else!
I think it’s sad you can’t use the products I think everyone should be able to. If they don’t sell a lot of a specific shade they can make less quantities as opposed to completely skipping it.

Charlotte has repeatedly shown that she's not here for darker skin tones. These palettes look like something I have seen over and over...boring.
I used to love CT, but lately I've been really disappointed at how limited the shade ranges are. A famous luxury brand like CT has no excuse for that.
CT has been bought out now so hopefully there will be some positive changes re the shade range

Charlotte found a winner with the pinks/golds/shimmers, but that was years ago. She hasn't budged at all and she's becoming stale.

Totally agree Chrissy - how did these palettes make it to production; they are extremely boring. Doesn’t Charlotte know we already have all of these colors! Is she getting lazy because we are so eager to buy every palette she puts out and therefore she doesn’t put too much thought into it???? It’s a HUGE pass for me!

I didn't get that one (it sold out) but I've heard really great things about it. I believe it had new formulas in it.
This palette just seems a little bit of a cash grab. Zero thought it effort has been put into it and the price is bonkers (considering it's pitiful offering).
I placed my order, now that I hear you about the free cream I should have placed the order for $150 and I only did it for $118🤷🏻♀️

The question is why do you need to make shade comments EVERY TIME when you do not understand the financial side of makeup, they know who buys what and how often, they have market analysts and their is something for EVERYONE their are even brands that ONLY cater to darker skin, so JUST review and move on! I have med tan skin and MOST of Tilbury's products don't show up on me, so I buy from somewhere else!
I think it’s sad you can’t use the products I think everyone should be able to. If they don’t sell a lot of a specific shade they can make less quantities as opposed to completely skipping it.
