I usually never watch these long "create a website" videos but since it's you I did and again not disappointed. Your tuts are simply awesome, no fluffs, no bs. Never heard about blocksy until now I will definitely check it out. We need to get you over the 100k subs asap
Thanks for the great feedback Jean. It's great to hear that you got value from the video and it's opened your eyes to what Blocsky offers as a theme :0)
Well done Paul. Better phone the builders so they can start work again! HaHa! 2 hours, fair play. Will watch tomorrow my friend. It's Friday night and nearly beer o'clock 🍺 You and yours have a great weekend 👌
I have been looking forward to this and am right on it now. Thank you Paul and hey, thumbs down people, I really dont get you. Paul has done incredible work and has created one of the best communities on youtube / facebook out there. Paul is also always listening to thoughts and feedback in a very open way. So I do find it unfair to click thumbs down instead of perhaps placing thoughts for discussion. From me, it is a very well diserved massive THUMBS UP
Just a heads up, you've accidentally missed out the bottom part of your custom CSS in your description. I believe it's meant to include the following CSS: margin-bottom: 10px; } Great tutorial, thanks!
@@WPTuts I definitely did. I would be so glad if you did a full tutorial on membership websites using elementor. I did watch your last video on the dynamic visibility plugin for elementor and would love a demonstration of its full potential in a membership website. Thanks alot Paul you're heaven sent!.
Just rolling my sleeves up to get into this! Thanks Paul. As an aside, I noticed I wasn’t receiving notifications about new vids, and that the bell icon can’t be selected, as your videos are designated as made for children... just in case you weren’t aware.
Hello Paul! Could you make a video for a car or equipment rental website? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. By the way, you made a very nice looking site. 👍
Hi Paul love the video, just what I need at the moment. I'm doing a competition site for a client and wondered what your thoughts are between Kadence and blocksy with WooCommerce and preferably using elementor
Thank you so much for these valuable information, I need to have a FREE plugin to manage a barcode apply & reading from the barcode reader and adding to the invoice would be a plus. waiting for your reply, quick reply is really appreciated.
Hello Paul, thank you for the very informative tutorial. I always learn something useful from your videos. I noticed that the interface when developing the home page looked different from the video. There was no "S" (for stackable settings), but just the word "Settings". Never mind, once I figured that out, I followed along quite easily. I have an unrelated question about a woocommerce shop page widget and how to include both attributes and tags to it, but will post that on your facebook group. Thank you. Kris.
Very nice! :) I'm trying to do the same thing. Went with Qubely as my Gutenberg support kit. Was hoping to just work with pure GB, but it felt quite limiting.
Hi there, can you tell me, if all of those steps would also work if i were to use the Elementor free version instead of Gutenberg? I am really new here, so any kind of help is much appreciated.
The 'Order by' section is missing from my widget area when customizing the Product Categories in the footer. Lots of things seem to be missing yet I installed the same plugins as per the tutorial?
Thanks for the video. I have been following step by step but i am getting frustrated because when i insert a card and try to edit it i have to do each individual column, i can't edit the whole card at once. Please can you advise. Thank you.
For some reason the Block Navigation plugin causes my admin panel to crash when I try to edit a page. I deactivated the plugin and everything worked fine. If anyone knows how to solve this issue, please let me know. Thanks!
I wish I had seen your videos before I setup my website. I am happy I found your videos now since I am trying to update/ make more user friendly. I used the Bevro theme but after watching this video I would like to change to Blocksy. What is the best way to accomplish the change?
The best way would be to create a staging version of your website and make the changes to the theme there and once happy with the design changes, push that back over to the live site. You can learn more about staging sites here: ua-cam.com/video/XLHXpHEADQI/v-deo.html
Hi I'm trying to integrate the "card" and the following error keep popping out... "The editor has encountered an unexpected error" your prompt support is much appreciated
Hi Paul, great video! 😃 Do you have to create a stripe account in order to use WooCommerce for that payment option? Or is it auto installed when you make a your site ground account?
Paul or any guys here know to add invoice as paypaments like Klarna in woocommerce. Just now I got Stripe for creditcard (visa/mastercard) but also I want he customer pay with invoice... how to setup Klarna or other invoice payments company . I also use woocommerce subscriptions plugi and It also must work in the UK and in the US:)
Hi Paul. Regarding the 'Form' widget available in elementor, the principal objective of a form is to ‘collect’ ( download) the data as a ‘csv’ or excel file. If u do this with this elementor form , the actual fields ‘dumped’ on the excel sheet are ALL in disarray, in other words) the order of the fields do not follow the order in which u have placed the fields in your form. Hence is a mess to ‘re arrange them’ in the excel file. Do u know how we can ensure that the data is downloaded following the same order as the fields displayed on the screen ?
I have just spent hours and hours sorting out my products, getting the header and footer all laid out with fonts, colours etc and now it won't save because of 1 invalid setting. I literally followed you step by step and I am bereft at having wasted so much time. There is no way for me to work out what it is that stops me from saving so I have to either start over or bin the whole lot. In hindsight I so wish that you saved as you went so that I would not be in this jam. I am gutted.
Using the basic version of Blocksy would it be possible to create something like this site’s (asemartialarts.com/) shop pages? I don’t mean, plagiarize the site, I mean when you hover over the “Shop” link in the header you get the drop down with multiple “shop” pages each designated for different categories of products (uniforms, belts, weapons, etc). But in Blocksy’s Modern Shop site you only get one shop page and that shows every product combined. There seems to be no way to duplicate it. Or would this only be possible using the premium version?
@@WPTuts Great tutorial as always (how many times have I written that *lol) But why do you choose Blocksy theme? Does it work with Elementor and does the theme load faster in the browser and in the customizer, compare to Astra? Is there pro version of Blocksy theme too?
@@pellekarlsson152 I chose because it's a pleasure to use, is well thought out and offers a huge amount in the free version. The Pro version released around Christmas time and adds in some very useful additional features like webhooks. I will be covering the Pro version in the near future.

Hello thanks for this video!
I am new to wordpress...
Just one little question:
What if I want to use other Theme, could i install Woocommerce?
You should be fine using almost any theme with WooCommerce.

Thank you for the training. For an e-comm site...would you stick with Let's Encrypt or would you get a paid SSL cert?
Unless you are running a site that turns over a high amount of sales/money through the site then Let's Encrypt should suffice.
For some reason the Block Navigation plugin causes my admin panel to crash when I try to edit a page. I deactivated the plugin and everything worked fine. If anyone knows how to solve this issue, please let me know. Thanks!
Great tutorial. One question, why Blocksy and not Kadence, any particular reason, or reasons?
I find Blocksy to be a better theme to work with. I've never really understood the hype around Kadence as a theme tbh.
Hi, can you do something similar for hotel bookings?
Is it a way to customize the search, having the box instead of the pop-up page?
i followed the same steps .! but i cant see my product filter option on my shop page

You'd need to create a Stripe account. 👍🏼
How would you categorize your product if you need to have multiple categories? For example, Sony, Panasonic and TV, Camera?
I'd use manufacturer and product type.
Know what they say "it's easy when you know how" 😂
Exactly. :) Hopefully, this video will show the how. ;)
