Just my newest and possibly last Gate AMV for the time being because I recently dived into plenty of new anime and got tons of new AMV ideas from them. Based around Sabaton’s track ‘Reign Of Terror’ off their debut album ‘Primo Victoria’ this is first addition to my second wave of AMVs which will have more put into them than my first wave. I also finally found an AnimeRaws source that actually works which means that I could finally find higher quality clips and more clips which means more clip variations and progressions and most importantly, no more ugly and distracting subtitles and watermarks. This song was written about the Gulf War but it’s lyrics also have pretty much the same meaning as the plot of Gate which is why I think it makes a good match. Luckily I managed to combine these two before anyone else and hopefully took the spotlight lol. I’m also the first ever one to make a Reign Of Terror AMV (some people made music videos with Gulf War footage but that was all). After all this is one of Sabaton’s most underrated songs which they also never played live. This video also took a hell lot of time to make (even though it’s not all that technical lol) and I went through tons of issues that almost made me have to restart or even give up on the project but luckily I managed in the end. The first was when I found new higher quality clips (1080p) and felt like restarting but then I came to a conclusion that the quality I worked with (720p) was good enough for anime related stuff. The biggest pain was this time Filmora9 had an update which literally turned it into Filmora X which sucked. It was 10 times laggier than the version I used before the update, the pacing was terrible and extremely out of sync as well as a few more things. Luckily I managed to download an older version which ironically works a hell lot smoother than both Filmora X and the Filmora9 version I originally used. This was one of two AMVs I had planned to make during the winter holidays but looking at how much time I spent on this, the next one might be a close call since it will be 2 minutes longer.

Ok this is honestly driving me sane lol. Had to fix some more flaws that were just unbearable to look at and several more I discovered. Hopefully this really is the final time I have to rework this project EVER. Used a handy thing called slow-mo to hunt down and eliminate every last flaw. Anyways, stay tuned for my upcoming Angel Beats AMV! (Hopefully as well as the dozens of AMVs and FMVs I have planned as well as GMVs which will be the hardest to make)
Alr this song Reign of terror by sabaton works so well this anime. And fun fact Reign of terror is about the gulf war of 1991 and the liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi forces via American Arabian British and French fire power
