Another Sabaton fan here. And a history fan. This anime and music video is a masterpiece. A perfect rendering of the horror of World War 1. You even gave a mine attack at Messines. The explosion was so powerful that it was heard in London and Dublin.

Having watched the anime, i have to say youjio senki or tthe saga of tanya the evil is a nice anime
I’m replying to this cause you seem to know. which war is this? Is this the first or the second because I seems like it’s the first and then Panzers show up
@@BLOODANGELS579the anime takes place in what would be ww1 in their time. but to be fair,i have not seen the panzers when i went to watch it. i still didnt see any panzers after rewatching. even im puzzled
@@erridkforname OK so on the picture of the video when you go to click on it, there’s two panzers one to the left and right of the dude in the middle and in the last parts of the video I’m pretty sure those are either Panzer threes that roll up and start firing

@parkercleek9705 it's ww1 but it starts in 1923 not 1912 that is why there is a mix of technology
Honestly, I think this just popped up on my feed because I been watching a bunch of sabaton history 😅.
But Honestly this amv us one of the best I have seen in a long time I really hope thus gets more exposure because I would really love to see what you can do with stormtroopers or ghost in the trenches & y stop there no bullets fly or steel commanders??

Bro there literal magic in this anime, the countries are slightly different to their real life versions and so is the timeline, the war started earlier than ww1 in real life and has been ongoing for over 15 years so its a mix of ww1 and ww2
@@rapson158no the war started in 1923 when Tanya was on the solo patrol in the north that was the first battle of the war

Youjo Senki does a, surprisingly good job at telling a war story when you pay attention to what's actually going on and understand that, while a parallel to our worlds world wars, it is not a direct copy, and potentially solely due to Tanya coming in and, essentially saving that world's Germany from loosing to the point that ours did, stopped the whole no-no german thing from happening, anyways, back to my point after ranting about idiots online, there is a complex war story being told, and it's nice to see both the battlefield but also the politics of war, while Tanya's story is the main story, the war as a whole is told to us in bits and pieces during briefings and encounters with the higher ups, I haven't read the light novels, and it will probably be a while, but the fact that, even while details are stripped, the anime and manga still manages to do this, and fairly well, is impressive, and really cool to see

Is there a reason somebody put WWII tanks into this video?
The Anime is an alternative time line where a sort of ww1 ran longer so there is a mix of technology. The main focus is actually Tanya the Evil who leads a flying squad on magic brooms (both sides have them). Which for realism was completely left out of this video. Good anime though.
