I really think you should make a vid on how to build that Rolex clock you got. A lot of people I’ve seen in the comments ask about it and could probably do pretty well as a vid👍🏻
Truly an excellent build, professional parts selection. Hes clearly done a lot of research and has saved everyone an enormous amount of time by selecting the best stuff.
Thanks for the great video and all the links in the description. If I was only going for 1080p I might still get this beast for future proofing. 1) off I change my mind and want to go 4K. But also the budget links still makes it about the same price of quotes I was getting from sim installers.
What kind of clearance from the wall do you have with those pipe shelves? Do you feel like you pull in enough cool air with it being that close to the wall?? Love the setup!!
I ran plenty of bench marks with all different types of sim software in max settings and the PC runs cool and does not get hot. I have about 3" of space from the wall where the two 140mm fans intake air into the case and it appears to be great! Thank you for the comment and let me know if you have any other questions.
Built this exactly…thank you! One question…how did you connect the monitor and the projector? There is one hdmi on the gpu and one on the motherboard that doesn’t work because the cpu has no onboard graphics. Just run both monitor and projector on gpa with hdmi and DP cable? Thank you again!
Hello, from my PC GPU connectors, I have one hdmi cable going to my projector and one hdmi going to my monitor. My GPU only has oneHDMI port, but it has 3 display ports, so I bought a display port to HDMI adapter. Reach out if you need anymore help. pixelgolfco@gmail.com
Great Video. Keep up the good work! I wanted to make a similar video, but I keep putting it off because of the time it would take. I have a ton of footage from whenever I built my sim room and want to make a video, utilizing that footage. How much time would you say it took to complete the finished video (not incl. the original footage time)?
In video editing the saying goes for every minute of video is an hour of editing. As someone who did lots of editing in the late eighties and nineties with 3/4” decks and now even with minimal cuts needed, I have found out to be so true. I do have to say how amazing it is and so many features, I couldn’t do back then easily, with Final Cut Pro and all the other editing software. So your video at least is 17 hours of editing for pros. You did a fantastic job on the editing to show exactly what you were saying you were doing at the same time with perfect angles of the video on the machine.
Are the side fans required? The description on Amazon says “Compatible with Lian Li SL120 V2 3 Pack only”. I did not order the optional fans. Thank you.
You would want some fans on the side typically to pull air in on the case. You can get some different fans if you want, but with a 2 sided glass case moving air is especially important.
Thank you. Since I did not order the options Lian Li 3 pack optional fans , will the side fans work without the Lian li SL 120 fans? I really enjoy your channel.
For golf simulators you need a good PC to run the software and a lot of people don't know what specs they need or what to buy. I'm just giving them the option to build one themselves and there's been a lot of people who have built this PC for their sims and are very happy with it. We do have a lot more videos on our channel to build a simulator if you need help.

Awesome video! Love the Tiger loop lol looking forward to part 2!
Out here doing the range work for us!! Best sim desktop build and detail video on the tube!
Wow, thanks!
Built this gaming PC a couple of months to your ultimate specs to run with my Carl Place enclosure, 4K projector and couldn't be happier. thank you!

Awesome build! Where did you get your computer wall stand from? I’m setting mine up too and like the simplistic look of yours.
I purchase it from Amazon, I'll list it in the links.
Where did you get that Rolex clock? :)
Homemade!
Whattttt!!!! That’s awesome!

About 1 week, mainly because I have a lot to learn in editing.

Sat down to build this off everything on list and no Samsung 980 pro on links list!
Thank you for pointing this out! Just added it.
Forgot to ask. The Tiger loop, was that something you can change or make your own video clip and load it on there to play?
You can download any GIF and add it in the software easily.
For the GPU you want to use 3 different cables to the power supply not just the 2 cables you used.
Going to look into this now and will pin this as a correction in the comments. I didn’t realize this, thank you!
GSPRO recommends 4080 for 4k. But the 4070 Ti Super works ok?
Yes, the 4070TI Super works with no issues. I think the biggest thing is the VRam wgich the 4070 TI Super also has 16GB.

I made it.
@@PixelGolf nice!
Great vid. So how much did this build cost you?
Right around $2200.
That had 0 to do with the simulator setup
