Well this was a fun mission, I am really having a great time playing this. Back to a more normal schedule next week! Phantom Brigade and Highfleet Campaign 3 prep! - Ігри

Seeing it in writing is even worse than hearing it back!
My headcanon for Monarch is now "skittish fellow who just forgot to turn on his radio transceiver"
The retreat also felt pretty realistic/logical. Instead of immediately engaging, Monarch sees he's outmatched and only takes a few potshots at the pursuing Crimson Squadron, only taking one down once they get too close to the retreat line.
When you turned back to fight Crimson I got the biggest grin on my face.
(Also if you had shot down the MEDEVACs then I would have unsubbed)
I am glad someone noticed I didn't fire on suspected civilians. And I wasn't going to give up with out at least trying to fight them!

Crimson squadron will be back to one if not the best mission in this game. You are in fore one hell of a fight.
They are all using aoa limiter off.
That thing is funn like hel to use in a fight.
I will need to practice with the limiter module then. I can't wait!
Ah, your first dance with crimson. Also good job with crimson. Normally you would run in this mission. But I guess I had never tried fighting them

I didn’t think you can actually damage the crimson squadron to the point they pull out. That’s crazy.
Fun fact you can hear crimson 1 say he's coming about midway through the mission "we're spent on fuel and ammo, give us a reason HQ"
The URMB is, hilariously enough, one of the best. Air-to-Air weapons in the game. If you aim it right, you can take out an aircraft in one shot.
The AOA allows you to pull PSMs at a high speed, giving you the ability to turn on a dime. The catch is that there aren’t flares, so depending on how you do, and what plane you use, you might be screwed. Thankfully, the MG-29 is good at this, so if you want you can do that.
Oof, hitting planes with rockets sounds a little beyond me, but I need to give it a try for sure.

You should try AOA. It's a lot of fun and really gets the adrenaline flowing. Basically turns the game into doom but with airplanes.

For the record, to hit people with your guns you need to get them in that floating circle pipper with the dot in the center and the prongs on it's perimeter. It moves around because it's showing(roughly, depending on range) where your gun rounds are going to go within effective range so you can hit targets while in turns.
I think I am starting to get the hang of it, gun kills are so satisfying!
@@Phrosphor Note that it's fine to fire before the pipper appears- it just takes practice to make hits that way.
Just wait to try this on hard or merc. Crimson gives you one hell of a run for your money. It's tough.
