Hanging Out With Koalas

The previous day I was stung by a hopper ant twice, they are nasty stings and can be deadly. Then we were all harassed and chased by the non native wasp colony that moved in. I was very much over hanging out in the backyard until I spotted these koalas in the trees above me :)

Awww! Looks like maybe it's malebholding a female in the tree. Either they've mated, or he wants to mate her. Well, if she has a joet peeking out of her pouch after seven months we'll know for sure!

I actually don't know! I think the ants tend to live on the ground in their nests. This is a question for Chris Daniels :D It would be terrible if they got stung
