- Three very short koala clips taken within three days here at Greenhill. I took that first short clip while driving past a neighbour's house, the other two other were sent to me by my neighbour Brian :) Koala season is here! and so is Bumble the Koala, you can recognise him from his fur - half dark grey and light grey - a clean line in the middle of him. Bumble has stayed around a long time here! He is cheeky and smart.

Awww! I love the way you are so good to the koalas, Alicia. You and your family have good hearts. It must be getting warm there now. It's already getting quite cold here in upstate NY. Last night it went down to 2°C! It was only 9° today, and right now, as it's 0145 Sunday morning, it's down to 5°.(I'm getting good at converting Fahrenheit to Celsius for my Pommie and Aussie mates, lol!)
I'm so depressed Australia is still closed to international travel. I desperately want to come and visit all the wonderful friends I've made over the years. And definitely see koalas! Australia is definitely at the top of my bucket list!
In the meantime, to console myself, I'm heading to Manchester in the spring. My cousins live there, and I haven't seen them in way too long. They want to take me to the Lakes District, and Bath, and Blackpool, Scotland and Wales. I'm going to stay for a month so we have more time to catch up with each other, and muck about the countryside. Ginger knows I love Jane Austen(she isn't shoved down our throats in school like it is in Blighty, which is more than I can say for Shakespeare. I think every kid in the world is tortured with Shakespeare in school.🙄), so hence the Lakes District and Bath.
I follow a couple of rescue sites in SA; SKR, and 1300KOALAZ. Do you know either of them? I think they're pretty terrific! I donate to them whenever I have a couple of nickels altogether. I'm donating to SKR again soon, in memory of sweet baby Lottie, who passed away from crystals in her kidneys. It really broke my heart. I love koalas so much. I want them to live happy, peaceful lives. I know we can live in harmony with the wild; we gets lots of wild animals passing through our yard where I live. When our dogs are outside they are on a leash, and we keep them away from wild animals.(except rabbits. They are aggravating beyond belief, and they torment my dogs, so I let them chase the rabbits out of the yard!) We try so hard to be responsible, just like you. I don't know why other people won't be.
Sorry, I'm just rambling on, aren't I? I apologise; sometimes I can't help it. I look forward to your next video, and even more to when Australia finally opens its borders again.💖💖💖💖💖🐨

We’ve opened our boarders!! You can go to every state except W.A I think maybe QLD isn’t open for a few more weeks.

Now I'm going to have to wait till next year, because when I come visit I want to stay around two months. Guess I'm going to have to start checking flight information again. Who knows? Maybe I'll get to fly over on a great big Qantas 380!
