Do you mean the force Appling only at joints? There is almost no like that situation in real life. Why you are considering this situation?

Good afternoon, I have a question. When performing the static analysis, are the properties of the welded joint assigned in the model taken into account? In other words, if instead of 3mm for the weld bead, it is set to 5mm, should the results obtained in the simulation change? Best regards.

When I perform a weldment simulation using SolidWorks, the program recognizes one of the elements as solid and the other elements as beams. However, it does not allow me to change the solid element to a beam. How can I resolve this problem?
