- PANKHABARI ROAD is rather steep, and time consuming. Hence, it is not a preferred route from SILIGURI TO KURSEONG. In this video, I have shared my BIKE RIDE from SILIGURI TO KURSEONG on my HERO XPULSE 200T via PANKHABARI ROAD, passing over the LONGVIEW TEA ESTATE and MAKAIBARI TEA ESTATE. The road is so STEEP that there isn't a single flat surface on the way, but the views are amazing ! XPULSE 200T performs quite good in HILLY AREAS.

my exprnce on royal himlyan bike was so good on this road..2nd gear 1 gear smooth ..via rohini road tht road is not tht much stp compre to pnkhbri kurseong road..but i love this pnkhbri road cuz real skills of biker may tested here 🤣🤣

The road is so steep that i couldn't climb with my yamaha fz 153 cc bike.. had to return back..although my pillon was about 90kg..
Yes bro, the road is quite steep. You made good decision. It's always wise to return back, better than taking risk.

Which road is best for Kurseong also had some good beautiful view points?
All the roads are beautiful in their own way.. but if you ask me, i would say Rohini Road.

Its the 2nd steepest road of north bengal and the first is the rongtong shivkhola route.
Yes bro...rongtong-shibkhola road is quite steep..infact, Hanuman ji Mandir road of Kurseong is also very steep.
I am planning to buy xpulse 200t.how do you think it will perform on steep climbs with pillion? Will it be too risky? waiting for your advice.
On steep climbs with a pillion, it will be a bit technical. Make sure you engage the proper gear. I have ridden to some steep roads of Darjeeling with a pillion on this Xpulse 200t.. it managed to pull, but not effortlessly.. i always had to engage the 1st gear

Engine noise has reduced comparatively.. But the noise and unrefinement is still there.

Hello brother. By outer radius, I mean the outer periphery of the turn, i.e. the extreme right side of the road. By taking the turn through the outer radius, the steepness gets slightly reduced. If you see the thumbnail, you can see that I am on the extreme right of the road to negotiate the steep hairpin turn.

That is why apko pehle se dekhna hai ki koi vehicle aa raha hai ki nahi.. only and only if its clear, take the outer radius. I often mention about this technique in the videos.. agar opposite side se koi vehicle aa raha hai, we should wait before taking the turn. Or else we can also take the inner radius

To be honest it's not steep, I am a proud xpulse 200 owner and I have rode this road several times it's not that steep. I think the steep road is via teesta to jorebunglow you should try that and give it a second thought.
Brother, I have done that road as well on this Xpulse. That's the Peshok Road. There is a vlog on that particular road as well. I found it comparatively steeper.
