- Marvel Cinematic Universe has never failed to deliver us raw and powerful characters like Loki. Loki season 2 has started airing this month and it has taken over the internet, because of how well-written and made this show is. You can see in this scene that how Loki has changed a lot since the TVA. Loki here tells Sylvie about how he used to mock Thor for being good, but not he understands the power he holds and how it can be used for the good of the people.

Loki has the biggest story arc of any MCU character. He's easily the most complex villain turned hero and has shown the most growth.
Too bad he didn’t have the ability to actually have this growth for the whole arc. His arc voiced, flew half way, fell straight to the ground, then magically popped back up at New York 2012 variant of himself.
He had it twice.
This version of Loki will be worthy for Mjolnir

That's why he says it's easy but seeing the consequences keep on going from the mistakes he caused was hard... Holy damn… that is crazy big character growth for Loki as a character.
Looking can say this because he knows all he's done up until this point was destroy and Conquer. He understands that by just wiping the boad clean is easier and arguably more efficient, but he knows now that's not always the case and I love that.

At this moment, Loki is really talking to himself, literally and figuratively, he is talking to himself from the past, Sylvie personifies Loki at the beginning of his journey, when he just arrived at TVA and also said that he would burn him to the ground. This scene is beautiful, it perfectly demonstrates his growth. He realized his mistakes and that everyone should be given a second chance, just as TVA gave him a second chance.
I really see this as loki talking to his old self. And basically he is, since Sylvie is a Loki. She’s going through the same phase that he did and now he is the one giving advices. Loki has grown so much. (Also this is a preference question but I really don’t see Sylki working romantically. I love them both and their dynamic but they’re more like big brother and little sister dynamic as I see it. I think it would be really weird if Loki, after all this growth, would end up dating someone who’s basically him. And I don’t mean the self-cest thing but casually just the fact that someone alike him)

When she killed Kang bcz she thought she was freeing the timeline. She was around 9 I think when TVA caught and tried to prune her . She was just angry that her childhood had been snatched away from her and she right now was just second guessing letting victor timely go and feared that this would happen to another child ,that TVA might not change.

Damn Sylvie quickly become one of my least like characters, just in general. Don't get me wrong, I understand her side I really do. And I understand that she's a Loki too. But she caused this more than anyone else, and then basically refused to help fix the mess she made, until her own little bubble was popped. She treats Loki like absolute garbage, while continuously being so selfish and self centered and narrow minded, and not listening to reason pretty much at all, and making the wrong choice just over and over again. Like she's really not a terrible character, but damn I can't stand her. And I'm sorry, I straight up refuse to call her Lady Loki, I hate what the writers did with her for this show. They had such a great opportunity to give us legit Lady Loki, and fumbled that shit so hard. As a legit Loki fan, it's so dissapointing
There was actualy a love storyark between Sylvie and Loki but they decided to scrap it up for Lokis new storyark to become God of stories. It was a sacrfice. It cost a lot but at least, Sylvie can have her own storyark in other project or seasons.

@samiamubin2997 I don't agree with her being like Loki, at any stage. Not fully at least. She's like only the negative side to the "Loki character" and nothing else. Loki himself has never been a 2D villian, and he's never been this selfish. She's honestly just a poorly written and developed character. They should've just made her Sylvie Lushdon, or even Amora. Instead of an actual Loki, it would have accounted for the failings.

I absolutely lost it when she blew up at Mobius when the entire thing is literally her fault in the first place. Season 2 made me actually severely dislike her character, despite actually LOVING her in season 1.

this is me nitpicking but i hate when people repeat phrases in dialogue. "what if ur wrong, what if ur wrong about...., what if ur wrong" and then loki "this is easy, that is easy, hope is hard, trying is hard." im obviously butchering but i just find that style of writing so boring
Maybe it is a little lazy and cliche but isn't also still very relatable and relevant? I mean how many people are always asking themselves "what if" and trying to take the easy way out. We're all just trying to do our best and live in a world where it's far too easy to do your worst. At least that's how I look at it.
