Hello Bot Bender, nice video. I wanted to let you know, I did the math and he should be 6.78910% bigger for Earthrise, and 12.345% bigger for Studio Series. I hope that helps.

I've been waiting for this one! Got mine last week and he's great, but I do agree that he should be at least 5% bigger. If he were an 80s wrestler, I say we send him to CMLL, get 'em polished up down there, learn a little lucha libre, send him up to Stu in Calgary, learn him how to stretch people a little bit. Then throw a little gas in his ass to pump him up, THEN we can call Vince!

This figure's really cool, but I think Newage should've waited a bit, for people to get SS86 Optimus in hand. Like, this is very clearly meant to be an SS86 Gun Megs stand-in, but he doesn't stack up to SS86 Prime because they jumped the gun and scaled him to Earthrise Optimus.
That said, if Newage want to do the same thing to their Starscream, I'll gladly fork over the cash.
Aside from 86 Prime's height he's perfect imo. End of story for me.
He's pretty close for me. Wish the arms were bigger, but thatd compromise the alt mode

I think it's pretty darn nice, almost think hasbro should've stolen or bought this design if the whole sensitivity with snugs thing is, it's so well done 👌 I can appreciate all the steps to conceal everything, totally an adult figure, much care needed here. But seriously, minus his slightly small smallness, it's really not too bad, he's great. Idk about pricing bc I don't have the dude and can't say for sure in person, but it is nice, hopefully not too expensive for the workin folks out there! Snug mode ain't terrible it's better than fan made modes on other Megs, and bot mode is studio series worthy 👍👍 very nice
Yeah, totally. I mean, they are in a licensing craze as of late, so why not this :D Yeah, he's all sorts of nice. Just a hair shy of being perfect for me, but it's pretty negligible. I think both A and B modes are pretty good all things considered. It's about $105ish I think but it woulda been nice if he came with the add-on bits. That woulda been clutch. But I still highly endorse him. Looks right at home with the Cons :)
@BotBenderOrinj ahh yeah they totally could went out with a bang heehee, that is, if this is the end or begining of the end might as well bend the rules and give the people what they want!!! Price is a lil up there but for what it is and what people have been asking for, they can charge what they need to make a profit, it's the fact that they did something for the fans that's been in demand of the big guys, that's cool in my book.
To be fair , a gun is smaller than a truck or a jet or a cat .
damn that's some transformation magic. lol funny you mention that about holding in farts... i saw a vid recently that mentioned if you don't fart then the gas stays inside and gets absorbed in your body and breathed out from your lungs later. so yea... you can burp out your farts. (according to that video... so take that with a grain of salt lol)

The figure looks great, but absolutely works better with Earthrise Optimus or Siege Optimus or even the original Voyager class midget that is Classics Optimus. Buncha midgets, they are.
Meanwhile, they're charging entirely too much for this thing to NOT have the stock & silencer for the gun mode. Especially ridonkalonkalous considering that their actual Legends scale Megs had everything, and it was also nuts in pricing for its day. Reminds me of the latter days of third-party mainline scaled stuff (just before everybody jumped ship to ride the MP hype gravy train) where prices were absolutely outta control. Or maybe they always were outta control (Combiners were five to six hundred a pop)...
Yeah woulda been nice to have those add-on bits. Wonder what made they shy away from that, cuz those parts are iconic! Perhaps the upscaled version will have it....?!

Wsup SS! :D He's 105 now XD I think he's still worth it, but just shy of being perfect for me. I think Hegemon still does a great job of filling this space, even tho he's a bit dated.
@@BotBenderOrinj I have been debating that Hedgemon actually. Hasbro has been silent on the SS Megatron. I have a Concept megatron with the upgraded head as a stand in currently
Nice nice. Yeah good ole Heggy is nice. Bot mode prolly better than the alt mode, but he scales well. I heard SS Megs is going to be a Megatronus repaint? Not sure, but those are the rumors.
